Today a great group of representatives from Williamson County’s small business community gathered in the Middle Tennessee Electric / TVA Economic Development Power Room at Williamson, Inc. to hear from my friend Phoebe Venable, CFA of CapWealth on how her team at CapWealth has implemented AI into their business. I was honored to represent Williamson, Inc. and join Carlie Vowell for a panel discussion as part of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Intro to Nashville event this morning. We explored the role of economic development in shaping our region’s growth, the power of regional collaboration, and how we can continue building strong, vibrant communities. And we’re taking this show on the road! Excited to have a similar conversation with Carlie, Bess McWherter Anderson and Kim Moore at Women In Economic Development (WinED) in Savannah this fall. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to discuss how Middle Tennessee prioritizes strong regional partnerships and how that makes us competitive as a region.

Yesterday @Williamson, Inc. Women in Business Luncheon brought together 200 professional women of all stages of their career. When we asked who was attending for the first time, dozens stood up. This community continues to grow and it’s always exciting to welcome new faces into the room.
