It's Women's Entrepreneurship Day... and I almost missed it! (Because I'm a crazy-busy founder who's always at the edge of 🤪 🫠 😵💫 😎 ) Let me re-introduce myself as a bit of context: 👋 I'm a longtime marketing exec who is - underneath it all - a serial entrepreneur. 🗒️ Like some of you(?) I always keep a list of my business ideas - the good, the bad, and the WHAAAA?! 🎁 I'm naturally a fan of challenging the norm (enneagram 8) and breaking things and learning new things so... #startuplife feels right, no matter how hard it can be ❓ About 2 years ago, I asked the question here on LinkedIn: "Who are the women founders I should be following?" and have built such amazing connections around that 💜 I now run a business that *highlights* extraordinary women leaders including many founders/entrepreneurs and it feels like everything has settled into what was meant to be Want to do something for the women Founders in your life? 1. Share this form to potentially be featured in an upcoming series highlighting growth-stage founders: https://lnkd.in/gK8sPZJP 2. Tag someone who should apply to attend our exclusive dinner in NYC in December - with a focus on founders: https://lnkd.in/g4rzeeXq 3. Send them a positive, validating message. Founder life is SO DARN HARD. 🥂 Cheers to a few women founders that I follow here - and get inspiration from: Sarah Warner Tamara Vrooman Lucas Cassandra Gholston Mada Seghete Nisha Parikh Swati Paliwal Cristina Flaschen LaShanda Jackson Leslie Ferry Karthiga Ratnam Elyse Flynn Meyer Michelle Kay Sabina M. We’re happy to introduce another extraordinary executive leader… 👋 Please meet MJ Smith, Chief Marketing Officer at CoLab. She is a transformative marketing leader known for challenging the status quo, championing bold innovation, and driving significant revenue growth. With a passion for shaking up how marketing is done, she takes a holistic approach and leads with fearless energy. ✏️ On LinkedIn, she’s focusing on making complex topics feel approachable. She says, “I like to share real-world examples of how I’ve applied frameworks to actual challenges, instead of just talking about theory. Lately, I’ve been taking a similar approach with generative AI in marketing—sharing what’s really happening in my role and our business as I write.” 💡 As advice for up-and-coming professionals, MJ tells a story from her first job as a manufacturing engineer: “When a machine broke down, I had no clue how to fix it. I ended up going to the manufacturer’s website and downloading the instruction manual, and the answer was right there on page eight. I fixed it in about an hour. It taught me that most problems are 10% technical knowledge and 90% common sense—and that you can make real progress just by being willing to try.” And, because Wednesday Women are more than just the title… ✨ Here’s a Fun Fact about MJ: She mostly listens to music for the lyrics and loves songs that tell a great story or land a line like a perfect punchline. ⭐️ Connect with MJ & learn more below. ___________________ Enjoyed this post? “Build bridges with cross-functional partners. Your internal teams become your biggest advocates and supporters when things get hard if you've stood with them instead of against them.” We’re kicking off Wednesday with this wonderful advice from our newest WW feature. 👋 Please meet Ashley Hyman, a seasoned executive leader and educator with a rich background in health promotion, behavioral science, and customer success. She currently serves as the VP of Customer Experience at Drata, the trust management platform with the mission of serving as the trust layer between great companies. Ashley is an exceptional leader known for her positive, determined, and motivating mindset, and for her passion for educating, training, and growing teams to support customers in striving to be better and do better. ✏️ On #LinkedIn, you can find her talking about… - Supporting customers in building trust with their customers - Championing women in the workplace (particularly moms) - Creating powerful customer experiences ✨ And here’s a lil’ fun fact about Ashley… She taught fitness classes (specifically spin) for over 15 years during grad school and her early career, and also taught Public Health courses. ⭐️Connect with Ashley & learn more below. ___________________ Enjoyed this post? 💜 “I'm still savoring this experience.” 💜 “I was surrounded by an eclectic group of absolute bad a$$ women, and I left in awe of their career journeys, passion projects, and the authentic, unconditional support they showed for one another.“ 💜 “A cohort of women from across industries who are balancing big careers, families, and everything in between came together in Vegas for a night that turned into real conversation. It wasn’t about networking; it was about connection, sharing experiences, ideas, and encouragement in a way that was honest and energizing.” 💜 “What a great evening! I feel so blessed to have been included. Great food (and mocktails), great company, and great connections.” 💜 “Thank you for hosting the most beautiful evening and reminding us to ask for what we need, AND for creating a safe space to do so.” It’s a dinner you want to talk about, from the food to the amazing wine. And the kind of night where you walk out feeling full of amazing food and great company. Last week, with our lovely partner Sendoso, we hosted a dinner in Las Vegas that blew us away. From the moment guests stepped into Partage, the night unfolded like a story you didn’t want to put down. We’re talking: ✨ 7 courses (that were actually nine courses) of the kind of food you want to eat again the minute it’s gone ✨ Perfectly paired wines (and spectacular mocktails) ✨ Walls that came alive with moving landscapes of France ✨ A custom “Welcome to Wednesday Women — proudly brought to you by Sendoso” video that set the tone for a fun night. ✨ The fireworks on the walls when dessert arrived, with every table erupting in “ohhh!” We had local leaders, and women flying in from across the country for the conference (3+ attendees came just for this dinner!) The Gives & Gets, the heart of our dinners, were amazing… From personal moments, self-advocacy, compensation, parenting while leading, to starting new jobs, and celebrating promotions. Women being honest about where they are and what they need. We even created a walk-up song playlist. (stay tuned for that) 😉 What a wonderful evening we will never forget. A huge thank you to Rachel Kohn and Danielle Falzone from the Sendoso team for making the night possible. 💜 🧡

Presence isn’t just how people see you in a room. It’s where they see - on video, in chat, on LinkedIn, anywhere - how you advocate for yourself. -Lorraine K. Lee Let's be honest: Doing great work isn’t enough. Being seen for the great work you do? That’s how you become unforgettable. In this week’s episode of The Ripple, Lorraine (a LinkedIn Top Voice, keynote speaker, and author of the recently-released Unforgettable Presence) gets honest about what it really takes to grow your visibility. And spoiler: it’s not perfection. It’s not loudness. It’s consistency. Intention. And showing up just a little more courageously than you did last time. Whether you’re an introvert or just visibility-weary, this conversation will reframe how you think about presence. 🎧 Listen to “Becoming Unforgettable” on the show: wednesdaywomen.org/podcast 📨 Catch the deeper reflection in the Wednesday Women newsletter below 📚 And grab Lorraine’s book... like, today.

I’m still full….. …of amazing food and great company. Dropping a few pics and the menu from our dinner with Sendoso on Wednesday. There’s really nothing else to say except… …the 7 course (really 9) tasting menu with wine/mocktail pairings did not disappoint. Neither did the amazing conversations. #wednesdaywomen #partagelasvegas #community
