Yesterday, our hard-working and dedicated production team at the Nutrition Services Center, with support from our culinary department of four chefs, finished preparing over 14,000 homemade Meals of Gratitude for students across the district. Today, all elementary schools served this special meal, and our middle schools and high schools are cooking and serving their Meals of Gratitude on-site for lunch service. This year, we took extra time, attention to detail, and real care with these meals — doing the little things like roasting our vegetables and elevating every component to raise the bar for our students. Happy season of gratitude! 🍁#WeAreWCSD #WCSDproud #SeasonOfGratitude #SFE SFE- Southwest Foodservice Excellence
