A Waldorf school in the Heart of Silicon Valley with a rich curriculum serving students from Preschool through Grade 12.
About us
Waldorf education is often described as a modern renaissance education, resulting in students who are cultured and knowledgeable, educated, and proficient in a wide range of fields, and possess the confidence and skills necessary to thrive in college, the workplace and in life. Key areas of focus include the development of critical thinking, a highly developed ethical compass, and a lifelong love of learning, while at the same time fostering creativity, innovation, cooperation, and strong communication skills. These are the tools our children need in order to thrive and lead in the 21st century world. In addition to our rich curriculum, signature streams for our high school include experiential and interdisciplinary learning, technology transformation, social and emotional development, service learning and social justice, and environmental stewardship. WSP high school follows an innovative assessment policy that focuses on the goal of intrinsic learning rather than rewards-based grades.

🐣 Big news on campus: our Middle & High School chicks have hatched! Grade 8 and High School students teamed up—incubating eggs as part of their studies in agriculture and embryology. To everyone’s delight, one chick even hatched right in the middle of Main Lesson. Science doesn’t get more hands-on than this! #WaldorfSchool #WSP #SchoolLife

What if the college admissions process was driven by student passion and centered around well-being, values, and long-term success instead of rankings and pressure? That's how we support our seniors on their college journey. We're always inspired by Challenge Success’s most popular webinar, A Healthier Approach to College, taking place again on October 7. Led by Dr. Denise Pope, Challenge Success co-founder (and longtime WSP friend and collaborator), this session explores practical strategies to reduce anxiety and focus on what we agree really matters in the college search process. Register at https://lnkd.in/gnE5JASh And Class of 2026, we're cheering you on!

When Google’s top AI scientist says the most important skill of the future is learning how to learn, it’s worth asking: how do schools actually differ in their approaches? At Waldorf School of the Peninsula, we believe the answer lies not in racing to keep up with technology, but in cultivating the human capacities that outlast it. Our students learn to question, to create, to iterate, and to adapt. They don’t just absorb information; they practice turning knowledge into insight through art, science, story, and hands-on work. This is how Waldorf education uniquely prepares young people for a world of rapid change. While AI may be able to process data at lightning speed, it cannot replicate curiosity, empathy, imagination, or moral judgment. Those are the qualities our students carry with them, and the very skills they’ll need to keep learning, no matter what the future brings. We'd love to connect to show you how WSP is creating adaptable leaders for the future! https://lnkd.in/d-99iKBD
