What a day! 🎉 Thanks to everyone who joined us to officially break ground on Kellam-Wyatt County Park! Located near the Raleigh-Knightdale border, this 59-acre property was donated to #WakeCounty in 2018 by the Kellam-Wyatt family, whose vision was to preserve the land’s agricultural and natural heritage for future generations. 💚 When it opens in 2027, Kellam-Wyatt County Park will feature community and demonstration gardens, nature trails, a renovated farmhouse serving as a park center, native plantings, public art and educational opportunities. The park is funded through the 2018 Parks, Greenways, Recreation and Open Space bond.
