On Tuesday, our CEO, Austin Hughes, joined leaders from Ramp, Perplexity, Spiky.AI, and Legora at the MXV Summit to talk GTM in the age of AI. The big takeaway? AI is everywhere, but the competitive advantage still comes down to having great people willing to experiment and try new things. Thanks to the MXV Capital team for hosting a great event!

After analyzing 100s of top-performing outbound teams, we found 12 deliverability tactics they all use to make sure their sequences land in the inbox: Sequence Copy Tips 1. Keep Sequences Short: Cap your sequences at four emails. The best structure is two new email threads and two follow-ups. Anything more risks hurting your domain and overwhelming the recipient. 2. Alternate Between Threads and Replies: Use the first two emails to try distinct value props. Then follow up twice in the same thread. This combo balances personalization with persistence. 3. Short, Clean Subject Lines: Subject lines should be five words or fewer. No “quick questionˮ or “just checking in.ˮ Instead, personalize by company, industry, or job title. 4. Add Social Proof: Let your customers speak for you. One-sentence case study blurbs (e.g., “We helped Acme increase conversion 3x.ˮ) go a long way. 5. Use Snippets, Not Fluff: Personalize emails using role, pain, or trigger-based snippets. You don't need a fully custom email, just one line that proves relevance. 6. Under 100 Words Wins: Attention spans are short. Get to the point in 3-4 sentences and focus on the “why nowˮ and the outcome you drive. 7. End with a Clear Ask: Always close with one clear CTA, whether it's reply, intro, forward, or book. Avoid vague closes like “let me know if…ˮ that invite ghosting. Deliverability Tips 8. Use 1–2 Links Max: Stick to one link in the body and one in the signature (if needed). Avoid link tracking unless your domain is fully authenticated. 9. Match Your Domains: All links in your email should match your sender domain and use HTTPS. Avoid redirects or third-party URL shorteners unless they're custom. 10. Vary Your Subject Lines: Subject line repetition is an instant flag. Use dynamic variables to vary by persona or company, or test 2-3 templates in parallel. 11. Clean Your Lists: Sending to bounced or inactive emails destroys your sender reputation. Run list cleaning weekly, especially if you're adding net new leads often. 12. Avoid Sending Spikes: Don't blast 1000 emails from one inbox. Warm up new domains gradually and rotate sending across mailboxes. P.S. The best outbound teams build reliable systems around great copy. At Unify, we help revenue teams automate enrichment, sequencing, and signal-based triggers while staying compliant with deliverability standards. DM us to learn more.

Your hottest buyers aren't just coming from Google. They're coming from ChatGPT. Identifying these visitors is so important because of how warmed up they are. They've had a conversation with AI about their problem, and ChatGPT pointed them to you as a potential solution. It's an intent signal you literally can't afford to miss. Here's how to identify and action on these visitors with Unify. Using our dynamic audience feature, you can see which companies found you through ChatGPT, who the individual visitors are, and what specific content brought them to your site. From there, you can automate sequences to reach them while the intent is still hot. For example, when we checked our own ChatGPT audience, we people who were actively researching solutions like Unify. We could see the exact landing page they clicked on, which reveals what they care about (and the topics we should build outreach around). In the video below, Adara walks through exactly how to set this up. Ready to start actioning your ChatGPT traffic? Visit the link in the comments!

Most NBRs manually prospect 2-4 people per account. Charlie, an NBR at Unify, starts his mornings with 50-100 pre-qualified leads. He's hitting 175% to quota and spending more time than ever on human touches. Here's his workflow: At previous companies, Charlie's process was painful: → Marketing handed off MQLs → He manually researched accounts → Identified the right personas → Prospected into them → Crafted outreach for 2-3 people It was hours of work before a single conversation happened. Now? → Unify's AI agents qualify accounts, enrich contacts, and draft personalized emails while he sleeps. This way, his mornings start with 50-100 pre-qualified leads ready to go. Charlie now spends his time where it matters: phone calls, thoughtful LinkedIn touches, and actual human conversations and consistently books meetings with enterprise targets he never had the bandwidth to pursue before. Here's what Charlie says about his new approach: "Sales is a human-to-human game. If you can drive efficiency towards focusing on those human touches, that's how you succeed." He's right. The best use of automation is to create more space for human connection. And that's exactly what Unify for Sales Reps does. It handles the prospecting grunt work so reps like Charlie can focus on what actually closes deals.

Testing outbound sequences used to mean duplicating entire Plays and managing parallel workflows. Now with Multi-Path A/B Testing, you can test everything in one Play. The best GTM teams test everything, from subject lines to send times and messaging angles. They iterate constantly because small improvements compound. Until now, testing on Unify meant duplicating entire Plays. You had to build parallel workflows and manage separate audiences. The overhead killed momentum. That's why we solved it. Now, you can build one Play, create multiple A/B variants inside it, and test different approaches. You can also layer in If/Else conditions to route prospects based on company size, industry, job title, or any signal. Startups get one sequence while enterprise accounts get another and both run automatically in the same Play. And with reply rates, open rates, and meeting conversions across every variant, you can see exactly what works. This way, every test makes your next Play stronger. Building Plays shouldn't be a guessing game. With Unify, it isn't.

We're Hiring! We built Unify as an AI-native company from Day 1. Now, we're looking for AI Engineers to scale that vision even further. In early 2023, most companies were trying to build AI tools by retrofitting the technology into existing workflows. But we saw from the beginning that AI would fundamentally reshape how GTM teams operate. That conviction shaped our first hires. Within weeks of starting, we brought on Sam Waterbury, an AI engineer from Scale AI. Next was Kunal R., a former founder with deep AI expertise. Our engineering team became a mix of former founders and exceptionally talented builders who wanted to push the boundaries of what agents could do. And for the next 2.5 years, we focused on building data foundations that AI could actually automate on top of. Today, we're running over 100,000 deep research agent operations per customer every week. Companies like Cursor, Decagon, Perplexity, and Campfire rely on what we've built to power their GTM motions. But we're just getting started, and that's why we're looking for our next AI engineer. In this role, you'll ship AI products from concept to production while building infrastructure that supports agents operating at massive scale. And with our close partnership with frontier labs like OpenAI, you'll be able to test and iterate on features and models before public release. We're looking for someone with 3+ years in software engineering with at least 1 year focused on AI. You should have experience shipping full-stack AI projects with LLMs and agents in production. Most importantly, you need to be customer-obsessed, creative, and hungry to build. The role is on-site in our SF or NYC offices with comp at $180K-$250K plus equity and benefits. Want to come work closely with Sam, Kunal, and Carolyn (pictured here deploying mind-blowing agents mid-hike in Colorado)? Apply at the link below.
