  • In celebration of Health Care Strategy and Market Development Week, we want to recognize two UAB Medicine departments comprised of 44 dedicated team members responsible for promoting the health system and forging paths that lead to new patients and ventures. Marketing & Communications manages much of the internal and external messaging, including websites and social media, advertising and branding, employee and consumer communications, physician marketing, and talent acquisition support. Strategy & Business Development identifies and pursues innovative business opportunities – from partnerships and satellite clinics to telehealth services – while addressing financial, operational, and strategic challenges. Thank you to both departments for contributing to UAB Medicine’s mission, vision, and community impact.
