More stunning images captured on the Vast Haven Demo mission. TRL11 are a camera solution partner for VAST as they develop a vision solution for their Haven Space Station. These images are captured with the TRL11 Fovea M1, processed with the SAVER and downlinked using TRL11's VIP Link downlink protocol.

BIG NEWS AT PORTAL‼️ Introducing Starburst, our ESPA-class spacecraft built for rapid maneuverability and confirmed our first mission: Starburst-1 will launch on SpaceX’s Transporter-18 in Q4 2026. This mission will demonstrate: 🛰️ Rendezvous & Proximity Operations (RPO) 🛰️ Rapid orbital change 🛰️ Retasking flexibility on a responsive platform 🎯 Targeted maneuverability: 1 km/s of delta-v We’ve also got two partner payloads: TRL11 – Full-motion video + edge-processed telemetry Zenno Astronautics – Flying the world’s most powerful magnetic actuator And yes, that’s Supernova you see! Starburst shares core architecture and systems with Supernova, meaning this mission also advances flight heritage for our 6 km/s-class, trans-orbital platform. Two vehicles. One timeline. One strategy: build fast, validate in space, and move the mission forward. #PortalSpaceSystems #Starburst #Starburst1 #Supernova #SpaceManeuverability

What a launch night and team at Vast ! And thanks for the ride, SpaceX. Haven Demo’s mission success has turned us into a proven spacecraft company. The next step will be to become an actual commercial space station company next year. Something no one has achieved yet.

  • Congrats Max Haot, Jed McCaleb and the entire team @ Vast. TRL11 is proud to have participated in your mission so far, and look forward to many more to come. This is the GOAT space deployment video.

  • Congratulations to Max Haot and the entire team at Vast for executing the successful launch of Haven Demo. Our team has spent countless hours over the past few years working alongside the brilliant team at VAST to create a full-motion video solution for Haven Demo, Haven-1 and Haven-2. This video clip, developed by the team at VAST alongside their in-house filmmaker Justin Hartney is more than just “pretty.” Video such as this provides valuable insight into the success of on-orbit events such a successful solar panel deployment, with the added bonus of providing gorgeous 4K video that can be used to promote mission success. Space is the path forward for mankind. And video is the path forward for space exploration. Congratulations VAST on achieving this amazing milestone from your proud partners at TRL11
