We were honored to host New York State Chairman of the Environmental Conservation Committee, Senator Pete Harckham for a tour of our barging operations in Haverstraw. Tilcon NY’s barging operations takes hundreds of truckloads of material off our roads each and everyday. This was a great opportunity to be able to share the environmental and community benefits of barging materials into New York City which include reducing truck traffic, improving air quality, and aligning with the states’ emission reduction goals. We appreciate the Senator’s leadership in Albany and his interest in exploring cleaner, more efficient transportation of construction materials in NY state. #tilconnyleads

Tilcon NY was honored to play a part in protecting the character and heritage of the Storms Tavern House. This historic landmark has been a cherished part of local history dating back to the Revolutionary War. As a result of our home donation to the town, this property will be preserved for public use and be saved from demolition. Embassy Suites hosted it’s 31st Annual Trick or Suites event, where students of PG Chambers School have the opportunity to trick or treat in a safe environment. Our employees look forward to participating in this event each year!🎃

Thank you to Haverstraw Supervisor Howard Phillips and his team for taking the time to visit our Haverstraw quarry and asphalt plant. It was wonderful to have our teams meet and the town officials learn more about the work we do everyday in Rockland County. We’re proud to be part of this community and appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with our public partners. The Tilcon NY Totowa Asphalt Crew is getting ready to Rock Pink this October and show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As the Totowa batch plant works hard to supply some specialty mixes to the George Washington Bridge and the New Jersey Turnpike we will stand with cancer survivors and their families to fight this disease. 💪 Thank you to our employees for proudly wearing pink and raising awareness. 🎀

This past Sunday Tilcon NY was proud to host a Community Day at our Pompton Lakes Quarry which brought together families, friends, and neighbors for a day of comaraderie. We are happy to support the communities where our employees live and work. Thank you for all who joined us on such an amazing day.
