The Gateway School is proud to announce the launch of Horizons NYC at The Gateway School—a transformative summer program providing early intervention, specialized instruction, and family support for rising kindergarten and first-grade students with language-based learning disabilities from systemically under-resourced communities who also qualify for free or reduced lunch. This groundbreaking initiative brings together The Gateway School’s six decades of expertise in educating students with learning differences and Horizons NYC’s proven summer learning model. Together, we are laying the groundwork for long-term academic success by meeting the needs of young learners during a pivotal stage in their development. In the years ahead, the program will expand to serve students through eighth grade, ensuring continued growth, support, and opportunity.
