Last week, Sutton Bank teamed up with Children's Hunger Alliance to make a real impact for kids in the greater Ohio area. A dedicated group of Bank employees met at our Ontario branch and packed 600 weekend meal bags - that's 3,600 nutritious meals - to help ensure children have food to eat when school meals aren't available. Sutton Bank is proud to support Children's Hunger Alliance and their mission to end childhood hunger across Ohio. Supporting our ag community is a tradition we're proud to continue each summer! Our ag team has been out and about at the county fairs cheering on local 4-H and FFA members. Sutton Bank is happy to support youth livestock auctions and the fair buyers' groups. These programs help shape the future of agriculture, and we're grateful to play a small part in celebrating the hard work of our local youth.

We're sending a big congratulations to two more incredible team members as they head into retirement - Lisa Daniel, after 38 years and Laura Jones, after 26 years with Sutton Bank. Their dedication, knowledge and commitment have made a lasting impact on our bank and our customers. With Lisa and Laura's retirements, we've now had four long-tenured employees retire in the past month with a combined 136 years of service! That kind of dedication doesn't happen by accident. It's a reflection of the values we hold close at Sutton Bank and the people who choose to build their careers here. To Lisa and Laura, and the other recent retirees - thank you for everything. Sutton Bank is honored to support the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center (FELC) and their mission to provide environmental education and sustainable living practices throughout the local community. Sutton's donation will be used for scholarships for those who cannot afford hands-on programs, summer camps or workshops offered at FELC throughout the year. It will also help individuals who may not have otherwise had the opportunity to utilize a Seeds of Hope Farm community garden plot.
