Thank you Jennifer Conrad at Inc. Magazine for sharing Seremoni Grade fish are now at Wegmans Food Markets and FreshDirect! We’re also excited to announce two new product streams CHRN and NERA alongside Vermillion Rockfish and Red Snapper live in retail today. CHRN is the real-time tracking and market clearing platform for our fish. Through PSDN and Starlink, we are able to sell each fish the moment it leaves the water. NERA is the generation of biological insights to inform supply chain decisions. Today, most fish are routed in order of arrival, no matter spread or length of fishing trip. Recently sat down with Saif Khawaja, cofounder & CEO of Shinkei to talk about producing Michelin quality fish for everyone. Shinkei is building fish harvesting robots with the goal of reshoring America's seafood supply chain while radically improving the quality & shelf life of the fish we consume. Their Poseidon robot is scaling the traditional Japanese ike-jime method for killing fish which is humane and preserves texture, flavor, and freshness. None of what we do would be possible without our partner fishermen. Over the past year, Shinkei has scaled on every dimension. We've deployed robots across the US from Alaska down to California and from the Gulf up to New England. With 8 more fishermen and 11x the production capacity, we have ramped up Seremoni Grade distribution. We now have 8 species in 6 countries and are the first wild, fresh IJ black cod in a Tokyo auction in 13 years. We have transformed the lives of our partner fishermen. Many of our partners double the margins they take home in an industry where they have to worry if they will be paid on time. With risky jobs and razor thin margins, they finally receive the support they deserve. I'm excited for the next chapter that will unfold over the coming few weeks.
