Community, conservation, and connection, all in a day’s work! SevenGen’s care for people and planet continues through our 7G Eco Fallunteer Event in Ohio, where our team joined friends and partners at Great Parks to plant over 100 trees along the Little Miami Scenic River Trail, a designated National Wild and Scenic River System. This collaborative effort supports recreation, transportation alternatives, and long-term environmental stewardship, while helping to protect one of our region’s most significant natural assets for generations to come.

Join us in celebrating Austin Shannon’s four-year anniversary with SevenGen! As an HSE Consultant specializing in Industrial Hygiene, Austin helps ensure safe, healthy environments for workers and communities. One of his favorite parts of the job? Traveling to unique facilities and meeting new people along the way. Thank you, Austin, for the dedication you bring to Team SevenGen! 👏

This Veterans Day, we proudly honor current and former SevenGen team members who have served our country, and we pay tribute to those within all our communities.   Our teammate Jared Campos, MOL, a dedicated and active U.S. Navy Command Career Counselor, presented SevenGen with a commemorative flag that was flown over Isa Air Base in Bahrain during Operation Spartan Shield/Inherent Resolve. We are profoundly proud and honored to receive this gift. The flag symbolizes a meaningful reminder of the dedication, sacrifice, and leadership demonstrated by Veterans in support of our mission every day. This summer, Taylor Schenk, MOL, CSP, SevenGen HSE Consultant, traveled to Lake Kishkutena in Ontario for a special fly-in fishing trip with his grandpa, uncle, and cousin. Three generations spent the week catching big fish, telling even bigger stories, and enjoying the kind of connection that only comes from time spent together in nature. For Taylor, the adventure wasn’t just about fishing, it was about being present, protecting the environment, and making memories with family. As always, his group followed the principle of leaving no trace: taking out what they brought in and caring for the place that gave them so much in return. Experiences like these reflect what SevenGen values most—connection, stewardship, and ensuring the next seven generations have the same opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

It reminds us that our work in health, safety, and the environment isn’t just about today’s challenges, it’s about the legacy we leave behind.

This summer, Jason Morrison, CHMM, our Principal of Environmental Strategy and his family made their way to the Northeast for a trip filled with outdoor exploration and new experiences! They hiked miles of trails at Acadia National Park in Maine and Franconia Notch State Park in New Hampshire using the SevenGen National Park Pass that all team members receive, in hopes they’ll put it to use like Jason! Along the way, Jason also had the chance to try falconry in Vermont and wrapped up the trip with a stop in Boston. For Jason, the adventure was more than travel, it was a reminder of the importance of community and caring for the environment. Experiences like these ties directly to SevenGen’s mission of protecting people and the planet for the next seven generations.

Every fall, Team SevenGen steps out into the community to give back, supporting the people and places that make our work meaningful. 🍂 This season, our Indiana team partnered with LC Nature Park, a 300+ acre natural resource dedicated to inspiring outdoor education and conservation. Together, our volunteers helped collect native plant seeds to support LC’s ongoing restoration efforts, expanding natural ecosystems and protecting habitats for generations to come.
