Day 1 of 10 Days of Be The Difference: Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center - A Year of Impact and Heart 🌟 Welcome to 10 Days of Be The Difference! Each year during the holiday season, we highlight inspiring stories from across our Pyramid Family. In these moments, our teams have gone above and beyond to support their communities, uplift their colleagues, and create meaningful experiences for our guests. Over the next month, we’ll be sharing several of these standout stories as we celebrate the incredible people who bring our People-First culture to life every day. Today, we’re honored to spotlight the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center team, whose dedication and community spirit shone through a few remarkable initiatives this year. In a massive five-day effort, the team replaced 310 mattresses across the property. It took their commitment even further by donating nearly 150 mattresses to local charities, neighbors in need, and fellow team members. Their willingness to put others first and support the surrounding community reflects the true meaning of hospitality and heart. Their impact continued through a sustainability-focused initiative led by the culinary team, who redirected 150 pounds of unused buffet food to the Paws & Claws Wildlife Rehab Center. By ensuring that food was used to support local wildlife rather than being discarded, the team demonstrated thoughtful stewardship and a deep commitment to doing the right thing. From uplifting neighbors to supporting conservation, the Texas A&M team continues to embody what it means to Be The Difference both on and off property.
