Our corporate partner, GOLD FIELDS Ghana Foundation in Ghana, recently distributed Merck for Mothers' post-natal kits (sent by Project C.U.R.E.) to expectant mamas - the joy is palpable! Also, the company brought in the (Western Regional) local NICU coordinator within the Health Directorate to train staff at one of the health facilities on how to install, maintain, and use the baby incubator sent by Project C.U.R.E. earlier this year. These pictures speak to the power and impact of collaboration amongst various stakeholders - we are grateful for the Gold Fields team for their dedication to the community! Sumani Dash GOLD FIELDS

Delivering Health & Hope to the World
About us
Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to address the staggering shortage of medical resources around the world. Since our humble beginnings in a garage in Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has become the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment and services to doctors and nurses serving the sick and dying in more than 130 countries. Each week Project C.U.R.E. delivers approximately three to five semitruck-sized ocean containers packed with the medical equipment and supplies desperately needed to save lives in hospitals and clinics in resource-limited countries. In addition, each year hundreds of healthcare professionals travel with Project C.U.R.E. to provide medical treatment to communities in need and training to those dedicated to serving them. Project C.U.R.E. is supported by over 25,000 volunteers annually and operates distribution warehouses in seven U.S. cities. In addition to our global work, Project C.U.R.E. pivoted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support the need for PPE and medical equipment in the U.S. Since March 2020, Project C.U.R.E. provided more than 15 semitruck loads of medical aid, which equates to 4.5+ million pieces and nearly $5 million of PPE for healthcare workers and first responders. Project C.U.R.E. continues on the frontline of the battle against the pandemic by providing millions of dollars of COVID-19 aid on a weekly basis.

Had a productive meeting with H.E. Amb Dicken, Dr. Moussa, Founder, and Dr. Qadri, board member of Africa Relief & Community Development, a Project C.U.R.E. partner. We discussed and agreed on practical ways to support healthcare in #SouthSudan during these challenging times. Many thanks to Samah Quran, MHRM for all the efforts to make this impactful meeting happen.

We have partnered with Project C.U.R.E. in important ways, which has led to real impact for the countries we serve. One of the best parts of my job is always these kinds of conversations where we explore what's possible.
Inspiring meeting with H.E. Amb. Dicken of #SouthSudan, Marian Wentworth, and Deborah Hutchison for a preliminary discussion on potential collaboration to strengthen South Sudan’s #healthcare system. We explored how Management Sciences for Health's expertise in health systems development and Project C.U.R.E.’s ability to provide essential medical equipment and supplies could be combined to help the People of South Sudan. In times like these, it is crucial for organizations to join hands/leverage resources to address #GlobalHealth challenges.

Yesterday, my team and I volunteered at Project C.U.R.E. ! Our experience was meaningful, educational, and a great reminder of how valuable access to quality healthcare truly is. We helped sort medical supplies that will be sent to hospitals and clinics around the world - and learning that Project C.U.R.E. is the largest provider of donated medical supplies to people in the developing world was really grounding. They’ve delivered medical relief across 135+ countries, and it felt special to contribute even a small part to their mission. I’m grateful for the chance to volunteer at a place that aligns closely with where my passion lies and to support a cause that genuinely matters! 💛🌎 #OracleVolunteers

On November 18, Project C.U.R.E. will load yet another container of life-saving medical equipment and supplies for Aid Pioneers and to distribute in Ukraine in partnership with the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine. The Aid Pioneers team activates and energizes networks to get aid where it is needed most. We can't wait to pack their next cargo container!
🇺🇦 Why should we still care about supporting Ukraine? A week ago, my Aid Pioneers colleague Christoph Erichsen and I returned from our most recent trip to Ukraine. There, we visited our Ukrainian partners and hospitals in Kyiv and Odesa and prepared the arrival of our 34th container of medical supplies. ➡️ Why should we as Germans – or as Europeans - still care about this war? For us, it can at times feel far away, even unreal — until you take the train east from Berlin and find yourself in a war zone. During our trip, we speak to hospitals that have half their beds occupied by patients recovering from war-related injuries and to Ukrainians who spent their night listening to Shahed drones above their homes. Yet, even in Kyiv, war feels far away when you sit in a Berlin-style Asian restaurant – until night falls, and you’re spending it in a bomb shelter, sheltering from Russian drone attacks. During these moments, a quote from Leon Trotsky was constantly on our mind: "You may not be interested in the war, but the war is interested in you" And that's why, even in its fourth year, this war should concern us all. Because Russia is attacking the very freedoms that we as Europeans are fortunate to be enjoying every day. And the less we care about it, the easier we make it for Russia to win – and for the whole of Europe to lose. 💪🏽 That’s why we at Aid Pioneers are grateful that together with our brave Ukrainian and many international partners, we have now supplied 394 health care facilities all across Ukraine with medical supplies worth more than $13mn USD. ‼️ Moreover, until summer 2026, we will send at least another $4mn worth of medical supplies in 10 containers to Ukraine. And this help is still urgently needed. International funding cuts don’t only mean that less military aid is reaching Ukraine, but also that less medical aid arrives. Still, we had the impression that Ukraine is a lot more resilient than how it is often portrayed, and that Ukrainians are still very willing to fight in order to remain a free society. At Aid Pioneers, we are proud of being able to support them in this fight. ❤️ Thank you to all those fantastic partners in Ukraine, Europe and the US together with whom we've made a small difference in Ukraine this year: Project C.U.R.E., Flexport, Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung, NAK-karitativ e.V., #WeAreAllUkrainians gGmbH, Porticus, Harald Christ Stiftung, United Help Ukraine, Christian Medical Association of Ukraine, FRIDA UKRAINE, Razom and many more!
