It was an exciting day in South Philly as Vare Recreation Center celebrated its brand-new turf field with support from Council President Kenyatta Johnson, Jordan Harris, Rebuild PHL, Philadelphia Eagles, and Make The World Better Foundation. Parks & Rec Youth Sports Director Mike Barsotti joined the action alongside the South Philly Sigma Sharks, Eagles players, and local leaders, all coming together to celebrate youth sports and community in action. At PPR, we believe every neighborhood deserves the best spaces to play, grow, and thrive! The energy at Vare Rec is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we invest in our young people. #PhilaParksandRec #YouthSports #RebuildPHL #VareRec #MTWB
