What steps have Americans taken to look younger? 🧑 💇 💊 Hair coloring and taking anti-aging supplements are the steps Americans are most likely to have taken or to consider taking. Still, non-trivial shares say they would at least consider getting nonsurgical treatments (23%) or cosmetic plastic surgery (18%) to look younger. 💉🧑⚕️ 🧍♀️📈 Women are more likely than men to say they have done or would consider doing these things to look younger. For example, women are more than five times as likely as men to say they have colored their hair to cover grays and four times as likely to say they have gotten nonsurgical treatments or cosmetic plastic surgery. 💰 Perhaps not surprising given the cost associated with some anti-aging methods, upper-income women are more likely than women with middle or lower incomes to say they have taken each of these steps to look younger than they are.
