  • "With 20 years of dedicated service to our school district, I’ve grown through many levels of School Nutrition Services—starting as a food service worker, then serving as a high school Cafeteria Manager for 10 years and now working in the Central Office for the past 3 years as a School Nutrition Services Supervisor. In my current role, I oversee hiring, lead professional development, coordinate catering events that support our schools and staff, and manage the district’s Summer Feeding Program to ensure students continue receiving nutritious meals even when school is out. While I was a high school manager, I was proud to be a smiling face serving students breakfast each morning, knowing that a warm welcome and a nutritious meal could set the tone for their entire day. That experience continues to shape how I lead today—with empathy, high standards, and a deep respect for the frontline staff who make it all happen. I love my job because I get to support an incredible team that feeds our future leaders with care and purpose. I believe that every tray served is an opportunity to nourish not just bodies, but minds and hearts. Our district is a place where passion and community thrive, and I wholeheartedly encourage others to join our SNS family to make a lasting impact in students’ lives. Whether you're just starting out or looking to grow in your career, there's a place for you here. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier future—one meal at a time." - Michelle Reed, Field Supervisor, School Nutrition Services Interested in joining our team? • "In my current role as a middle school teacher at Parkway Middle in the School District of Osceola County, I have the privilege of shaping young minds and preparing students to become engaged, civically responsible citizens. Entering my 13th year of teaching, I strive each day to create an engaging, supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and capable of success. As a proud product of Osceola schools, having attended Lakeview Elementary, St. Cloud Middle, and St. Cloud High myself, I take immense pride in giving back to the same community that helped shape me. My wife also teaches in the district, and our five children attend Osceola schools, which makes this work deeply personal and rewarding for me. I love being part of a district that prioritizes growth, innovation, and family, where educators are empowered to make a difference. I wholeheartedly recommend others join our team because Osceola is more than a district, it’s a community that supports, uplifts, and inspires both its staff and students to reach their full potential." - Richard Steinmetz, Jr, Social Studies Teacher - Parkway Middle School Interested in joining our team? • "I'm proud to be a graduate of Osceola High School, and returning as an 8th grade science teacher and department head has been an incredibly rewarding experience. What I love most is how the district truly sees each student as a unique individual—not just a test score. The support I've received in my first year here has far surpassed anything I experienced in my previous 14 years in education. While working on my Master’s in Educational Leadership, the school’s administration was especially encouraging, and that support made a real difference. As the science department head, I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues to create meaningful learning opportunities for our students. I truly feel like I belong here and am excited about the growth and impact ahead. I highly recommend joining this team—educators here are valued, supported, and empowered to make a real difference in a caring, collaborative community." - Nicole Groff, 8th Grade Science Teacher, Kissimmee Middle School Interested in joining our team?
