A: I was finishing my psychology degree when I was invited to do an internship at Atletico de Madrid, from then on, I started my pathway in sports. Q: Why Orlando City/Orlando Pride? A: Because it's a place where I can bring together everything I've learned and translate it into impact. Orlando is a long-term project built on vision, collaboration, resilience and purpose. Q: What is your favorite sports moment? A: I'm not sure I have one favorite moment, but I always love when sport shows its human side, like comebacks, underdogs or emotions. Like maybe watching Barcelona win 6-1 to PSG. Q: What is your favorite outdoor activity? A: I love to waterski but in general I really like to try different sports, from skiing to golfing. I just love sports.

  • Meet Cassidy Spetnagel via our Club Spotlight, presented by Dayforce! She serves as Market Intelligence Analyst! Q: How did you get your start in the sports industry? A: I interned with the sports marketing department for two years while at Wake Forest University. I got to work in an office setting to help prepare for games, as well as help execute the in-game promotions. I have also been the Partner Services Coordinator for the Atlanta Open tennis tournament, communicating with all of the tournament sponsors to ensure that we deliver on the elements included in their contracts. Q: Why Orlando City/Orlando Pride? A: I can tell how passionate the city is about soccer, and I would love to get more involved in the Orlando community. I am excited to learn more about what drives people to support the local teams. I am also looking forward to attending more games. Q: What is your favorite sports moment? A: I was in attendance at the 2018 NCAA Men's Tennis National Championships. This was taking place at the Wake Forest facilities, and I got to witness my team win while surrounded by dedicated fans. While I already was elated about the championship, it elevated the experience to see the moment in person. Q: What is your favorite outdoor activity? A: While I used to be a more serious runner, I still try to keep up with going on jogs throughout the week. I'm currently looking for additional running trails outside of my neighborhood and I'm scheduled to run a 5K in Baldwin Park in November.
