Our Operation Breakthrough kiddos crushed the Read It & Move It challenge with Temple Made Fitness, and we celebrated with the ultimate reward: a pizza and ice cream party! 🍕🍦 We are so grateful to Tony Temple, Drue Tranquill, and Minsky's Pizza for inspiring our kids and providing the delicious pizza and ice cream sandwiches! 🎶 At Operation Breakthrough, our toddlers (ages 2 to 3) enjoy weekly Music Therapy sessions right in their classrooms with our Board Certified Music Therapists! Through music, little ones explore their feelings, play instruments, connect with peers and teachers, and practice important skills like taking deep breaths when they’re upset or trying something challenging.

With these colder days, we’re reminded of the partnerships that bring warmth to our community. Recently, Andy's Frozen Custard brought smiles and frozen custard to every child at Operation Breakthrough, along with a generous donation supporting our Ignition Lab. Thank you, Andy’s, for your partnership and commitment to empowering Kansas City’s next generation of leaders. 💛

A huge thank you to Jennifer Mitchel and Gay Lee Ludwig-Bonney from the Kansas City Civic Orchestra for spending the day with us, sharing the joy of music with our kiddos! The kids had a blast exploring new instruments, dancing, and singing along to their favorite songs (Baby Shark included, of course!) We’re so grateful for community partners who help our kids discover new sounds and creative fun!🎻

Our celebs brought the energy, and our amazing friends at Lula Southern Cookhouse, Longboards Wraps & Bowls, and Andy's Frozen Custard brought the flavor that kept everyone smiling at our 6th annual Travis Kelce's Celebrity Challenge. 🍴🔥 We’re so thankful for these local favorites who shared the KC love (and flavor) with us. From the laughs to the friendly competition, this event was a true success. Thank you to everyone who showed up, cheered, and supported OB!
