In 1986, fishermen on the Sea of Galilee uncovered a secret buried for nearly 2,000 years. Hidden beneath the mud lay a first-century fishing vessel—now known as the “Jesus Boat”—offering a rare glimpse into daily life on the waters where Jesus once taught. Experience it up close at Dead Sea Scrolls: The Exhibition, opening November 22. 📜 Learn more and get tickets today: https://bit.ly/4oO7zsK

Coptic Orphans, in partnership with Museum of the Bible, is organizing this one-of-a-kind cinematic experience to honor 21 ordinary men from Egypt who made an extraordinary choice: when asked to deny Christ or face a brutal death, they chose faith. Their story has reverberated across the globe, inspiring millions and becoming a symbol of modern-day martyrdom. Jonathan Roumie, from The Chosen, will be joining us in person to share his experience producing The 21 film. This event invites you to explore the foundations of the early church as seen through the lived witness of today’s Coptic community of Egypt. https://bit.ly/3XxUp7a

While she was learning about scrolls, our digitization intern Sophie Lichtenstein helped to create a facsimile of a letter written by archaeologist and biblical scholar William F. Albright for the upcoming Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition at Museum of the Bible. When writing about her experience, she said, “I am uniquely excited for this exhibit to come to Museum of the Bible, especially with my part in imaging the letter.” Read more about her internship here: https://bit.ly/43s9R8n

“The enduring power of the Bible and its capacity to shape lives and inspire profound art in those who love it.” As Christian streaming series such as "The Chosen" and "House of David" gain recognition for their masterful storytelling, our Chief Executive Officer, Carlos Campo, honors the profound storytellers J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, who helped pave the way. In a recent op-ed with Religion News, Campo reflected on the path Tolkien and Lewis created for generations with an undeniably biblical imagination that underpins their respective works.
