Mission Regional Medical Center staff attended a special ceremony at Mission Central Fire Station today to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders who showed extraordinary courage. We joined our community in reflection and unity, remembering the families forever impacted and the strength that comes from standing together. Last week, we had the honor of serving as the Gold Sponsor for Region One's Employee Health Fair. We provided a variety of essential services, including free blood pressure checks, strength tests, BMI screenings, and stroke risk assessments, all aimed at promoting optimal health. Additionally, we offered complimentary consultations with our esteemed Family Medicine resident physicians, ensuring that employees received valuable support on their wellness journeys. Our sister hospitals, Knapp Medical Center and Harlingen Medical Center, also participated to help keep the entire Region One team #InPrimeHealth.
