  • What started in 2019 as a small regional gathering has grown into a dynamic celebration of architecture, innovation, and community. Today, the Aspire Conference attracts participants from Tennessee, Kentucky, and beyond, extending its reach far past the Carolinas and Georgia.   Aspire is no longer just a conference; it has become a catalyst for connection. Add-on events such as river clean-ups and social mixers create new opportunities for industry professionals to engage, collaborate, and build lasting relationships.   Dive deeper into the evolution of Aspire in Mark Levine’s latest Foresight: https://lnkd.in/eveKT2xp

  • Architecture, at its essence, frames human experience. It’s a discipline that gives us the privilege—and responsibility—of shaping how people navigate their world. By embracing multisensory design, we can create environments that nourish the human experience, leveraging psychology to enhance functionality and elevate performance. When spaces engage touch, scent, acoustics, and even thermal perception, they become more than structures—they become experiences.   The future of architecture isn’t just seen. It’s felt, heard, and lived.   LS3P's Research + Innovation Intern Joseph Brooks explores multisensory design in our latest research piece, Spatial Sensation: https://lnkd.in/e4BcYEUa   #ls3p #research #design #architecture

  • The Society at Laurens is a four- and five-story steel and concrete mixed-use development that redefines urban living. Spanning 225,000 GSF, this thoughtfully designed community features 148 residences—from sleek efficiencies to elegant penthouses—alongside 185 enclosed parking spaces, pop-up retail, and curated amenities. Rooted in the historic fabric of the neighborhood, the building’s massing and detailing pay homage to the traditions of the Carolina Lowcountry while embracing a vibrant, contemporary aesthetic. This is more than a place to live—it’s a destination designed for connection, comfort, and culture. 📸: Jordan Powers #ls3p #architecture #interiors #planning #newphotography

Sweating it out on the streets of a runaway American dream...... ENFJ-A; My CliftonStrengths® - Input/Positivity/Woo/Empathy/Connectedness

On Thursday November 13th, LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD.’s Atlanta office hosted the AIA Georgia College of Fellows Workshop Fall Mixer. This event brought AIA Fellows and emerging leaders together to share an evening of food, fellowship, and fun. The workshop also provides a vehicle for The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Fellows (FAIA) to offer their valuable insights to prospective candidates on the process of seeking elevation to fellowship. Mark Levine, FAIA, AIA GA Regional Representative to the College of Fellows, provided an update on October's annual CoF Business Meeting. Special thanks to Maria Montenegro for her hard work preparing our office, and arranging for LS3P projects to be showcased to the group. #LS3PAtlanta #AIAGeorgia #CollegeOfFellows #AIAFellows #FAIA #EmergingArchitects #DesignLeadership

  • Enjoy the latest episode of Human Scale, where co-hosts Meredith Ray and Patrick Cooley sit down with Charlotte Office Leader Nathan Daniel for an inspiring deep dive into his journey from young architect to leading one of LS3P’s largest offices.   Nathan shares pivotal moments that shaped his career—including the Centene project (now TEN30 Campus), a 1,000,000 SF collaboration that pushed the team to its limits during the uncertainty of the pandemic. Hear how resilience, adaptability, and trust carried them through. This conversation explores the evolution of workplace design, the power of client relationships, and the entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of LS3P’s culture.   And don’t miss the Questions from the Fishbowl segment—one of our best yet! Nathan opens up about family, travel, favorite Charlotte spots, and even weighs in on the ultimate debate: Who serves the best BBQ in the Midwest?   Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts: https://lnkd.in/gvEv7k9h   #ls3p #storytelling #podcast #architecture #leadership

This was a challenging one. Part of our approvals for Peninsula of Charleston requires us to incorporate a portion of a ‘20s era building into our overall design. To do that we needed to relocate that portion for a time before setting it in its final location. Thanks to Trident Construction and LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD. for the great work figuring out the ‘how’ behind this!

  • This Veterans Day, LS3P proudly honors the extraordinary individuals on our team who have served in uniform. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice enrich our firm in ways that go far beyond the workplace. The perspective they bring strengthens our culture, deepens our purpose, and reminds us of the values we hold dear. We are grateful for their service—and proud to stand beside them as we design a transformative future, together. Some of LS3P's veterans share reflections on their years of service below. Tap through to hear their stories. #ls3p #veteransday #honor
