Kiddie Academy of Lake Norman is officially open at 665 River Highway in Mooresville, NC. This new location, which celebrated its grand opening on October 18, is owned and operated by Prateek Patel and Jay Patel, a nephew-and-uncle ownership team. The Patel family also owns Kiddie Academy of Cornelius and Kiddie Academy of Asheville, bringing their experience and passion for high-quality child care to the Greater Charlotte area. The new 10,000-square-foot facility features 11 classrooms designed to inspire innovation and discovery, plus a custom turf playground with a basketball court, soccer field, and bike trail to support physical development. Kiddie Academy of Lake Norman will serve 159 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and create 20 new jobs in the community.

Spreading Halloween Cheer at Johns Hopkins Children's Center! 🧡 This Halloween, we were honored to bring a little joy to some very special children. On Friday, October 31st, nine Kiddie Academy® corporate team members took part in a “Reverse Trick or Treat” event at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center — visiting pediatric patients in costume to deliver treats, warm wishes, and big smiles right to their rooms. A huge thank you to the JHCC team for hosting us, and to everyone who volunteered their time and creativity. We’re incredibly proud to have helped make the day fun, festive, and special for these amazing children and their families.

Kiddie Academy of Northwest Oklahoma City is officially underway with a new location breaking ground at 3100 NW 150th Street. This second location is owned and operated by Rich and Danielle Luht, longtime Edmond residents whose own experience searching for child care inspired them to bring high-quality, educational child care to their community. The new 14,300-square-foot facility will include 12 classrooms, a modern outdoor playground designed for imaginative play and motor development, and bright, flexible learning areas. It will also feature a state-of-the-art air handling system, a Zono disinfecting cabinet, and security cameras throughout. Kiddie Academy of Northwest Oklahoma City will serve up to 200 children aged six weeks to 12 years and is expected to create approximately 50 new jobs in the area. 

Chicago recently welcomed two new Kiddie Academy locations – Kiddie Academy of Wheaton and Kiddie Academy of South Naperville! Owned and operated by Saj Rizvi and Suneela Rizvi, these new locations will bring more options for high-quality child care to the DuPage Country area. Each individual location boasts a state-of-the-art, 10,500 square-foot facility equipped with 10 classrooms, a modern outdoor turf playground, indoor gyms, and activity rooms for supervised play. Combined, they will serve 151 children aged six weeks to six years old and are expected to bring 50 jobs to the area. It has been another exciting year for growth at Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care. We are proud to share that we have signed 50 new franchise agreements across 20+ states so far in 2025.    Each signed agreement represents more than a number. It marks another community gaining access to high-quality early childhood education, led by passionate Franchise Owners who believe in our mission to prepare children for school and for life. As demand continues to grow nationwide, so does our momentum.    Thank you to the dedicated families and entrepreneurs who help us expand our impact every day. 

For Community Volunteer Day, Kiddie Academy team members supported Harford Family House through hands-on service projects for families in need.   Remote staff also volunteered locally, showing that our commitment to community extends far beyond our headquarters. Kiddie Academy® of Stafford was honored to welcome Virginia State Senator Tara Durant for a special visit focused on early childhood education and support for working families.    Senator Durant toured the Academy, joined students for story time, and engaged in meaningful conversations about early childhood education, advocacy efforts, and the importance of supporting working families. Casey Miller, CFE, the CEO of the Kiddie Academy brand, was also in attendance, underscoring the importance of this meaningful visit.    It was an honor to highlight the impactful work taking place in Academy classrooms and to emphasize the vital role of early learning in communities alongside Senator Tara Durant.
