KDC is proud to announce the completion of our very first Original ChopShop in Midtown Phoenix (7th & Thomas). Our team delivered the brand’s signature prototype with classic brick and mortar, vibrant yellow and blue accents, hand-stained wood wainscoting, custom pipe shelving, and themed wallpaper, each detail thoughtfully executed. Completed on schedule and within budget, this project marks the start of our partnership with Original ChopShop in Arizona. We extend our sincere thanks to the Original ChopShop team for their collaboration and trust in KDC. We’re pleased to announce that Patrick Lindahl has been promoted to Director of Construction – Arizona. Patrick brings more than three decades of construction and leadership experience across the West, having served in roles including Vice President, Director of Business Development, and Project Executive. Throughout his career, he has led preconstruction teams, guided business development initiatives across multiple offices, and supported projects through every stage, earning a reputation for integrity, clear communication, and consistent client service. Since joining KDC, Patrick has strengthened key relationships, elevated our sales processes, and played an integral role in supporting both our Southern California and Arizona operations. His ability to combine strategic thinking with operational expertise has made an immediate impact on our teams and clients. In his new role, Patrick will oversee all construction operations in Arizona, with a focus on project delivery excellence, team development, and continued market growth. His industry knowledge and forward-looking approach will be essential in advancing KDC’s presence in this expanding region. Congratulations to Patrick on this well-earned achievement. We’re proud to celebrate the completion of the new Super Irvine International Market, a 30,000 sf grocery store located at Parkview Center in Irvine, CA. The KDC team delivered a full tenant improvement buildout featuring specialty areas including a café, bakery, and juice bar. The market officially opened its doors at the end of October, welcoming the community back to a refreshed and expanded shopping experience. In honor of Veterans Day, our KDC team spent last Friday volunteering with the Community Foundation of Orange to help set up the Field of Valor, a moving display of flags honoring those who have served our country. Meet Shea H. Helmstetter! For her, construction has always been more than a career, it’s part of her story. From helping her dad on jobsites as a kid to now managing multiple projects across Arizona, Shea’s journey is built on hands-on experience, growth, and a genuine passion for the craft. Since joining KDC in 2024, Shea knew she’d found the right fit, a company where people grow, stay, and make an impact. Today, she leads projects and teams with the same drive that first inspired her love for construction. Outside of work, Shea enjoys vacationing her seven nieces and nephews in Wapakoneta, Ohio. At KDC, leaders like Shea are building more than projects, they’re building lasting client relationships rooted in trust, quality, and collaboration.
