  • This month, nearly 70 JERA Americas volunteers came together for our Annual Fall Volunteer Day at the Houston Food Bank. In addition to packing more than 12,000 meals for seniors in need, we proudly presented a $75,000 donation to support the fight against hunger across Southeast Texas. This marks our fourth consecutive year partnering with the Houston Food Bank. Over the years, our teams have helped provide more than 249,000 meals to food-insecure families. A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers for bringing energy, teamwork and purpose to this day. Together, we’re making a difference. #CommunityImpact #VolunteerDay #HoustonFoodBank #CorporateResponsibility #TeamJERAAmericas #JAM

  • JERA Americas’ Science and Advanced Technologies team members, Greg Wilson and Yosuke Tsuboi served as panelists at Tough Tech Week 2025, hosted by The Engine. The event brings together founders, investors, academics, and industry leaders to accelerate breakthrough technologies addressing urgent global challenges. Gregory M. Wilson joined the panel titled “How to Power Tough Tech,” and emphasized that realizing clean energy technologies requires technical innovation as well as thoughtful consideration of the time horizon for deployment and maintaining affordable electricity prices. As part of the “Japan-Boston Innovation Bridge” panel, Yosuke Tsuboi highlighted the importance of techno-economic analysis and how it in shapes our energy transition strategy and shared how the company supports the scale-up of pre-commercial technologies by leveraging its existing power plant assets. He also highlighted Boston’s innovation ecosystem—anchored by academic institutions like MIT—as a leader in transitioning technologies from lab to scale. These discussions illuminate JERA’s commitment to redefining the way we generate power while reducing emissions through innovation, strategic partnerships, and real-world deployment of clean energy technologies.

We’re excited to strengthen our partnerships in Louisiana through our new Haynesville acquisition—an investment that deepens our commitment to the region’s energy economy and supports our long-term strategy for a diversified, resilient portfolio. This milestone reflects our belief in the promise of responsible energy development and our dedication to delivering a lasting impact across the U.S. And we are particularly excited that this acquisition raises JERA’s total investment in the U.S. to more than $6 billion across investments in power projects, LNG, and other fuels. #JERAAmericas #Haynesville #JERA #LouisianaEnergy #Partnerships

🔷𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐀 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐮𝐩𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🔷 JERA Co., Inc., through its subsidiary JERA Americas, reached agreement with Williams and GEP Haynesville II, LLC to acquire 100% of their respective interests in the South Mansfield upstream asset located in western Louisiana’s Haynesville Shale basin (“Haynesville Acquisition”). This Haynesville Acquisition supports JERA’s strategy of building a diversified, responsible, and resilient asset portfolio. The asset currently produces over 500 MMscfd and includes 200 undeveloped locations. JERA will invest $1.5 billion. The transaction includes a future investment plan under which JERA will increase total production to 1 Bscfd. 🗣️ “The Haynesville Acquisition substantially expands our partnerships in the United States. The benefits are clear: enhanced diversification for JERA’s LNG value chain, expanded global reach across the gas value chain and overall risk mitigation in a volatile energy market. The project thus clearly aligns with our strategic priorities and reinforces our core mission to provide a stable and secure energy supply globally,” said Ryosuke Tsugaru, Chief Low Carbon Fuel Officer. JERA also owns, in whole or in part, 10 power generation assets across the country, further strengthening our U.S. presence alongside our 5.5 mtpa LNG offtake agreement and the Blue Point low-carbon ammonia project. • JERA Americas’ Chief Power Generation Officer, Judith Lagano, joined a panel at the annual Louisiana Energy Security Summit. She spoke about JERA Co., Inc.’s growing footprint in Louisiana, including the Oxbow solar farm, our partnership with CF Industries and Mitsui in the Blue Point low-carbon ammonia project, and JERA’s increasing LNG offtake from the state. Louisiana is home to some of JERA’s most strategic investments in the U.S. We look forward to continuing to work with our state and local stakeholders to realize our shared vision for Louisiana as a global energy hub. Thank you, Senator Cassidy and team, especially Christine Harbin, and George David Banks at the American Council for Capital Formation for hosting such a fantastic and timely event. #Louisianaenergyinvestment #JERA #JERAAmericas #LNG #solarenergy #lowcarbonammonia #CFIndustries #Mitsui
