For more than 15 years, Jim has helped shape the heart and direction of our organization. He’s led with integrity, built trusted partnerships, and inspired the teams around him to think boldly and deliver exceptional results. His influence can be felt in the culture we’ve built and the clients we serve. With over three decades of experience in marketing, business development, and partnership activation, Jim is known across the industry for his strategic vision and deep understanding of how brands connect through sports, entertainment, culinary and culture. His work has fueled meaningful growth, both for Intersport and for the many brands that trust us to help them engage with fans and tell their stories.   • Festival Marketing, Turned Up to ELEVEn At When We Were Young Festival presented by 7-Eleven in Las Vegas, 7-Eleven celebrated their role as the first-ever presenting partner of a Live Nation music festival in the U.S. by showing up with purpose. With strategy, design, and execution guided by Intersport’s client services team, the brand built one of the most talked-about destinations of the weekend - a place to cool off, connect, and live the festival vibe. - Free Slurpee samples. - Pop-punk visuals. - Tattoo stations and nostalgic polaroid photo opps. Every touchpoint was intentional. Every moment felt natural. The result? A space that didn’t feel like a marketing play — it felt like part of the festival’s story.   • Intersport had the pleasure of hosting students from the Shuford Program for Entrepreneurship at UNC Chapel Hill at our Chicago headquarters. Eleven students representing a range of majors spent the afternoon exploring how entrepreneurial thinking comes to life across Intersport’s marketing, media, and sports & entertainment properties. After a quick office tour and overview of our work, the students heard from our UNC alumni, Touré S. Claiborne, Drew Russell, David Head and Jason Han who shared their journeys from Chapel Hill to their current roles at Intersport. It was an inspiring day of conversation, connection and career insight. Thank you to the Shuford team for visiting us and to our alumni for sharing their time and experiences.

    Intersport is celebrating its 40th anniversary this fall, led by founder and CEO Charlie Besser 💼 The agency has grown from a TV production shop into a company producing over 300 hours of broadcast and streaming content annually, executing more than 1,000 events, and directing hundreds of activations for brand clients. Besser has been widely praised, with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell calling Intersport a trusted partner, and Duke Athletics’ Kevin White dubbing him “the Pied Piper of Sports.” Intersport has also expanded its consulting and experiential capabilities, serving clients like JPMorgan Chase and Under Armour, and growing revenue 280% across affiliated companies over the past five years.     College Basketball Takes Center Stage This Thanksgiving 🦃🏀 Intersport is proud to bring two marquee matchups to network television on Thanksgiving Day: 📺 Michigan State vs. North Carolina – 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports (Skechers Fort Myers Tip-Off) 📺 Duke vs. Arkansas – 8 p.m. ET on CBS Sports (CBS Sports Thanksgiving Classic) Since 2010, hundreds of Thanksgiving Day college hoops games have been played — but only a handful have reached a national network audience. With these broadcasts, Intersport will have managed five of the seven men’s or women’s games aired on network TV since 2020. The results speak for themselves: the two most-watched regular-season college basketball games in the past 15 years both happened on Thanksgiving. This holiday, when millions gather with family, college hoops will be part of the tradition… and Intersport will help bring it to the table.
