Dr. Povieng takes a compassionate, multidisciplinary approach to helping patients manage and overcome chronic pain. With advanced expertise in spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, regenerative medicine, and image-guided injections, he’s dedicated to providing innovative, minimally invasive treatments that restore mobility and quality of life.

Insight Hospital & Medical Center is proud to honor its historic connection to Chicago by unveiling a plaque commemorating the birthplace of Pope Leo XIV. The plaque marks the site where the first American Pope was born, formerly known as Mercy Hospital, and celebrates the institution's enduring legacy of service to the community. The new plaque, located in the hospital lobby, was dedicated during a special ceremony attended by hospital staff, as well as community and faith leaders. The event highlighted how the hospital's mission to serve the most vulnerable continues to this day.
