A season built for H-Town begins in 2027! MLS has announced a historic shift in the competition calendar to align with top leagues around the world and will adopt a summer-to-spring season schedule in summer of the 2027. The partnership includes the development of internship programs, student scholarships and joint community initiatives that leverage the power of soccer to inspire academic success and workforce readiness. The collaboration will also introduce the Houston Dynamo FC–HCC Scholarship Fund, which will award two annual scholarships to HCC students pursuing degrees in business, marketing, sports or community leadership. Last week, Dynamo and Dash Charities, along with players from the Houston Dash and Dynamo, visited Ronald McDonald House Charities to spend time with the families in the organization, sharing dinner, playing soccer, and doing arts and crafts with the kids.
