Doubling down on doing good 💪 Our mission critical team held a food drive throughout the fall, and their impact is incredible — 23,439 lbs of food donated to support the Loudoun Hunger Relief Inc Foundation! That’s more than double what our teams collected last year at a time when it's needed most, thanks to the dedication and friendly competition across 13 data center construction jobsites in Northern Virginia. Recently, a group of site operations executives from across the nation came together for a Leaders in the Field Cohort, designed to strengthen their leadership, share best practices, and explore emerging construction technologies. Now in its second year, our Leaders in the Field Cohort is one of several learning cohorts within HITT’s companywide development program, designed to create meaningful opportunities for team members to learn, collaborate, and grow together. Over the past few months, this group of site leaders worked to build stronger connections across markets and create resources that support the next generation of builders. This #VeteransDay, we’re proud to spotlight Army Reserve Captain and Assistant Project Manager Justin Alfon, who leads with service both in uniform and on our healthcare and life sciences team. In October 2023, Justin took command of the 888th Movement Control Team, serving in Saudi Arabia and Qatar for Operation Spartan Shield and SOJTF-C. His dedication to leadership, teamwork, and mission success reflects the same core values that drive us at HITT every day. Breaking ground in Charleston! ✈️ Last week, our team celebrated the official groundbreaking of Boeing South Carolina’s 787 Dreamliner site expansion — a major project being delivered by our joint venture team of BE&K | HITT. Together with our partners BE&K Building Group, we joined Boeing leaders and team members, community partners, and government officials to commemorate the start of construction on this transformative project. When complete, the 395-acre site will support Boeing’s plan to increase 787 production. The expansion project will include new assembly, parts preparation, and interior manufacturing facilities, and represents billions in U.S. investment and thousands of new jobs over the next five years.
