About us
We Are Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them. To join us, volunteer, reconnect, or donate, visit www.girlscouts.org.

"As we celebrate Women's Entrepreneurship Day, we think of every incredible innovator, leader, and professional who got her start when she sold her first box of Girl Scout Cookies. 👏 With over 50 million Girl Scout alumni, we are so honored to be a part of fostering essential business skills with the Girl Scout Cookie program, the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world. 🌎 Beyond money management, decision making, and goal setting, the cookie program gives Girl Scouts the opportunity to polish their people skills and develop business ethics in the sweetest way. 🍪 Thank you to every entrepreneur who let us be a step in your journey toward unlocking who you were meant to be. ✨ #WomensEntrepreneurshipDay #GirlScouts #Entrepreneurship #Leadership "

Is "Golden" still playing in your head on a daily basis, too? 🙋♀️ You're not alone! Beyond the incredibly catchy music of KPop Demon Hunters, the characters are also striking a chord with today's youth from how they see themselves to how they tackle their (literal and figurative) demons: https://lnkd.in/e_w6aEbN

"Girl Scout Ella was searching for clear, relatable information about STEM careers for women and when she couldn’t find it, she built the resource she wished she had. 👏 For her #gsGoldAward created a STEM career blog featuring interviews with women across science, tech, engineering, and math. 🎙️🔬 Each post breaks down what the job looks like day-to-day, how to get started, and what young women should know as they explore their own paths. Her site is now shared in her local county school's library, reaching girls who may be asking the same questions she once had. Way to go helping young women see what’s possible in STEM, one story at a time, Ella. ✨ 📰: Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians

Girl Scouts joined leaders from Google, Congress, and the community to celebrate the launch of the Be Internet Awesome Family Challenge and new Fun patch at Google’s D.C. office. The initiative helps girls and families build safe, healthy relationships with technology. Through hands-on activities, girls are learning to set digital boundaries, think critically about what they see online, and make technology a space for creativity and connection. When girls feel confident navigating the digital world, they’re ready to lead anywhere.

Building your personal brand can begin at any age! 🌟 Just ask Girl Scout Johanna, who founded her non-profit, Growing Smiles Foundation, at age 11. She's making a difference in her community by operating seasonal initiatives to provide resources to families experiencing homelessness. From Valentines and Easter Baskets to back-to-school supplies, Johanna works hard to create special moments and endless smiles at local shelters, and she's just getting started. 💕 She's planning to elevate her non-profit operations to partner with more local shelters, host seasonal donation drives, and launch a care kit program. Keep leading the way, Johanna! #GirlScoutsGiveBack
