  • We are the champions! 🏆Team FICOH showed up and showed out at the 2nd Annual HAIP Kickball Tournament & Family Fun Day, sponsored by HEMIC. Our team, made up of FICOH associates, friends, and family members (plus one adorable furry cheerleader) spent the day at Ala Moana Park filled with teamwork, laughter and good vibes. Thanks to our stellar defense, we brought home the coveted “Belt of Glory” and claimed victory! A big mahalo to the Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals for organizing an amazing, family-friendly event.

  • Gratitude is in the air! Our Aloha United Way committee made this season of thankfulness even more meaningful by hosting a Gratitude-Gram fundraiser. FICOH associates had the chance to brighten someone’s day with a single-stem carnation or a beautiful carnation bouquet, each paired with a heartfelt note. Every arrangement was crafted and delivered with care. What a great opportunity for us to take a moment, reflect, and appreciate the friends, colleagues, and leaders who make our workplace so special.

  • The First Insurance Thanksgiving Parade rolled through our quarterly company-wide meeting yesterday! 🦃🎈🥁 🎉 We enjoyed a “curbside” view as our co-hosts Bebe and Jun guided us through a parade lineup celebrating new hires and work anniversaries, plus a special presentation by Ken Hatakeyama, Deputy CEO of Tokio Marine North America (pictured here with FICOH’s SVP Lance Kawano and CEO Todd Takayama). A heartfelt mahalo to Ken for visiting FICOH and sharing your thoughts with our team, and a big thanks to our co-hosts for keeping the festivities marching along.

  • Last month, our very own Bebelyn Yu F. was selected from hundreds of global submissions as a 2025 Guidewire All-Star! This recognition honors individuals who champion Guidewire and drive meaningful change within their organizations and across the industry. Bebe was celebrated at the Guidewire Software Guidewire Connections conference in Las Vegas as part of the largest class of All-Stars to date. She enjoyed connecting with fellow Tokio Marine colleagues and even experienced the incredible “Wizard of Oz” show at the Sphere. Her deep expertise in Guidewire has been instrumental in successful system fixes and enhancements at FICOH. Congratulations, Bebe, and mahalo for all you do!

  • We walked with HOPE! Our associates, friends, families (and even a few furry companions!) joined the thousands of walkers at the Alzheimer's Association®- Hawaii's 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Magic Island. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, informative booths, and the opportunity to raise awareness and support for advanced care and research. FICOH has also matched contributions made by our associates! Mahalo to everyone who walked and donated in support of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. #Walk2EndAlz

  • We hope everyone had a spellbinding Halloween! Our associates showed off their talent and creativity at our annual costume contest last week. Along with their impressive costumes, our Aloha United Way Committee added even more enchantment with their “Who Wears What” fundraiser. Associates could nominate their colleagues to wear silly costumes on Halloween Day, and the results sparked plenty of laughter! Check out all the festive fun we had.

  • Our associates are excited to *pop* up at the Alzheimer's Association®-Hawaii 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on November 8th at Magic Island, with Promise Flowers in hand! Each flower’s color represents a personal connection to the cause: 🧡- I support the cause and a vision of a world without Alzheimer’s 💛- I am supporting or caring for someone with Alzheimer’s 💜- I have lost someone to Alzheimer’s 💙- I have Alzheimer’s As we gather to walk, we invite you to pop up, stand out, and help end Alzheimer’s. Let HOPE blossom with every step.

  • A group of our associates helped the residents of Caring Manoa get into the Halloween spirit by hosting a festive craft party last Saturday! Together, we decorated foam pumpkins with stickers and pens, and crafted glowing jack-o’-lantern jars using mason jars, orange tissue paper, and mini twinkle lights. Mahalo to Caring Manoa for welcoming us and letting us talk story, share laughs, and be part of the Halloween fun.
