What actually happens when you call 988? When someone in Doña Ana County reaches out to 988, they’re connected with a trained crisis counselor who listens without judgment and helps stabilize the moment. If additional support is needed, FYI+ dispatches our Mobile Crisis Team, a licensed therapist and clinician who respond directly to where you are. Our team is trained to deescalate, and help the participant take next steps for a better future. This service is completely free to the community. Our Mobile Crisis Team is up and running 24/7 We are proud to announce the launch of the FYI+ Mobile Crisis Team, now serving Doña Ana County. To all this care you just have to call or text 988. With every call that consents to our care, we send out a license clinician and therapist to best serve Doña Ana. What the MCT provides: An on-site mental health assessment. De-escalation, a brief intervention, and emotional support. Safety planning and connection to ongoing care.
