About us
The European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) is a non-profit organisation based in Brussels and is responsible for enacting key aspects of the self-regulatory initiative for online behavioural advertising (OBA) across Europe. EDAA principally acts as the central licensing body for the OBA icon and provides technical means and transparency for consumers to exercise choice and control over OBA through the User Choice platform www.youronlinechoices.eu. EDAA is governed by EU-level organisations which make up the value chain of OBA within Europe and acts to ensure consistency in the European self-regulatory approach.

What an inspiring day at #EDAASummit2025! So many voices (from #regulators to #publishers, #platforms, #SMEs, #companies, #academics, and #technologists) came together to share, learn and get inspired. When this community gathers, the dialogue deepens and the path forward gets clearer. Throughout our sessions, we dug into what “value exchange” really means and how it ensures a fair digital future. Not just as a policy phrase, but as the foundation of a fair digital future. And no, the conversation doesn’t wrap up with the cocktail reception (though the rooftop view was spectacular!).
