In a powerful new piece, Kurt Knaus makes a compelling case that as artificial intelligence reshapes everything—from cloud platforms to streaming—to keep pace, we need energy that’s constant, responsive, and reliable. Pennsylvania, sitting atop the Marcellus Shale and already the second-largest natural gas producer in the U.S., is uniquely positioned to rise to the occasion. Highlights that jump out: • AI and data centers demand round-the-clock electricity. Renewable sources are vital—but can’t always deliver on demand. Natural gas fills that gap. • It’s not just about extraction. Pipelines, infrastructure, permitting, and regulation matter. We have to build smart to move gas where it’s needed. • The energy buildout is also a jobs story: union labor, communities, quality work, local investment. • Pennsylvania doesn’t just have a role, it has a leadership opportunity. Kurt Knaus argues we can help define the energy-AI future, not just power it. Read more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gmMiPXi4

As Charles B. Meyer makes clear in Bloomberg, this case underscores the importance of cross-border legal respect, warning that if Dutch courts refuse to honor a lawful U.S. judgment against Greenpeace, it could undermine global legal cooperation, weaken transatlantic trust, and destabilize critical U.S.–EU energy and trade partnerships. https://lnkd.in/grreGFCX

We enjoyed teaming up with Wildlife Habitat Council and Shreveport Green to plant 175 trees at JS Clark Elementary, helping create Shreveport’s first Nature Campus with a fruit orchard and additional tree canopy. Backed by a $75,000 donation from Energy Transfer, this initiative brings environmental education and green infrastructure to local schools. The tree planting is a key step in transforming the campus into a thriving outdoor space for learning and exploration. This is just one of the ways Energy Transfer gives back to local communities while supporting environmental stewardship. We are proud to operate in Louisiana with with nearly 9,000 miles of oil and gas pipelines and nearly 800 employees throughout the state — supporting families, contributing to the state’s economy, and helping power communities. https://lnkd.in/g33BXT5h
