Endeavor Health Northwest Community Hospital (NCH) hosted its annual Veterans Day celebration on November 11, recognizing the medical staff, team members and volunteers who have served our country. Endeavor Health was recognized as Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) 2025 Partner in Service at the LSSI True Friend Celebration. Through this partnership, particularly in creation of Project IMPACT, the LSSI’s behavioral health crisis program embedded in emergency rooms, countless lives have been changed. The first Project Impact was created more than 35 years ago in partnership with Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital. Additionally, recent support from Endeavor Health's Community Investment Fund allowed the Welcoming Center to expand its hours, making critical mental healthcare even more accessible to those who need it most. Endeavor Health has partnered with The Conservation Foundation through Endeavor Health’s Community Investment Fund (CIF). In this partnership, Endeavor Heath supports the Green Earth Harvest Program Farm to Pantry initiative. The CIF grant has helped The Conservation Foundation expand access to fresh, healthy organic produce for food pantries through the purchase of new farm equipment to bolster team efficiency and effectiveness, increasing crop yields. “We absolutely love this program, we love this collaboration with the Green Earth Harvest Program,” shares Carol Frank, a board member for the Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry. “One of our goals at the food pantry is to provide the healthiest food possible to our clients. A group of Endeavor Health Evanston Hospital employees recently volunteered at Connections for the Homeless, an organization that supports those experiencing homelessness or struggling to keep their housing. Endeavor Health has partnered with DuPage Health Coalition through Endeavor Health’s Community Investment Fund. In this partnership, DuPage Health Coalition has expanded their medical debt relief team which provides financial literacy education, help navigating hospital financial assistance programs and connects uninsured and underinsured residents with medical debt relief programs. “The opportunity to partner with Endeavor Health and to launch this project has had a profound impact,” shares Kara Murphy, president of the DuPage Health Coalition. “Now we have a team of four medical debt counselors who are working full time on addressing the needs of these families.” Learn more about this partnership: https://bit.ly/49V6o6g #OurEndeavor
