Building on the performance of Dexcom’s biosensing technology, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of Dexcom G7 15 Day Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System for people over the age of 18 with diabetes in the United States. Starting Dec. 1, Dexcom G7 15 Day will be available for users who receive their Dexcom CGM through DME providers. Dexcom G7 15 Day will also be covered for Medicare beneficiaries and has met the category requirements for therapeutic CGM systems set forth by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.    Dexcom G7 15 Day is designed to provide real-time glucose readings for an industry-leading 15.5 days*† and continues to evolve Dexcom CGM, which is clinically proven to lower A1C, reduce hyper- and hypoglycemia, and increase time in range, and serves as a significant advancement in glucose management for people with diabetes.    Click the link to learn more about Dexcom G7 15 Day: https://lnkd.in/duAT4aij   * A study was conducted to assess the sensor life where 73.9% of sensors lasted the full 15 days. Today we announced that the FDA has cleared Dexcom Smart Basal, the first and only CGM-integrated basal insulin dosing optimizer for Type 2 diabetes, making management simpler and more personalized for users and their healthcare providers.  With a history of industry firsts, this is the latest example of how we are continuing to drive customer-focused innovation. In our ongoing effort to improve diabetes management, we're proud to introduce Dexcom Smart Basal, a new feature under FDA and CE Mark review that aims to simplify basal insulin initiation and titration, especially for those with Type 2 diabetes.  Additionally, we’re presenting new clinical data this week at the 61st European Association for the Study of Diabetes e.V. (EASD) Conference that reinforces how Dexcom CGM improves health outcomes and delivers a cost-effective solution for all types of diabetes. Our findings highlight the positive impact of CGM on improving glycemic control in pregnant women with gestational diabetes and reducing health complications for people with Type 2 diabetes, amongst other studies.
