  • Opening Datavant’s Future of Health Data Summit this year, CEO Kyle Armbrester spoke about how the healthcare ecosystem is changing and how Datavant is evolving to meet that change. Across payer, provider, and life sciences partners, one theme is increasingly clear: organizations don’t just need access to data - they need trusted, connected, and actionable insights that drive real outcomes. With continued advances in data digitization and automation, we are better positioned than ever to make data actionable for our customers. Datavant is applying these technologies in practical ways that matter - cutting down administrative work so customers can focus on strategy and caring for patients. As Kyle shared in his remarks, it’s not enough to move data; we have to make it meaningful. A fireside conversation with Seema Verma, EVP and GM of Health and Life Sciences at Oracle, brought this message to life in new ways. She spoke about how nearly every major challenge in healthcare - from cost to quality to access - ultimately comes back to a data problem. Value-based care, she noted, can’t truly scale without real-time, interoperable data that empowers providers to take action sooner. “Interoperability isn’t just a technical goal,” she said, “it’s the foundation for innovation, quality, and patient trust.” Seema also shared Oracle’s vision for a more digitized and automated healthcare system. One that reduces administrative burden, brings real-time intelligence to clinicians, and gives patients meaningful access to their complete medical records. That vision captures what true patient empowerment can look like: data that finally works for the patient. But what is critical is to be thoughtful about the tools and technologies used to achieve that vision. Building trust requires transparency. As Kyle stated, everything Oracle is building lets you ask where that information came from and that's foundational for trust - a must-have Kyle’s remarks underscored a shared optimism about how digital transformation can reshape healthcare, not just for things like documentation, but for transforming the way work actually happens. It can give providers real-time insights - whether about the latest research, clinical trials, or even legal and insurance workflows - while cutting down on the manual tasks that often feel overwhelming. At Datavant, we’re seeing this play out. By bringing together tools like ChartSwap and DigitalOwl, attorneys and providers alike can turn mountains of records into organized, actionable information. And the goal isn’t just efficiency. It’s making sure the people who generate the data also see the value of it. Conversations like the one Kyle had with Seema - and the many others that took place throughout the Summit - reinforced the importance of collaboration. Datavant is grateful for the dialogues, the partnerships, and the collective energy driving the future of health data forward. #FOHD25
