🚨 New Research Report Published! Identity continues to become the true battleground of cybersecurity, as we've continued to emphasize over the past few weeks. Our report covers defending the modern Identity stack: Scattered Spider & the Rise of Identity Warfare, published by Lawrence Pingree! Groups like Scattered Spider have shown that attackers no longer need zero-days or sophisticated malware, they only need gaps in identity systems, SaaS configurations, cloud permissions, or help desk workflows. Our latest research breaks down why identity, SaaS, and cloud are now the primary attack surface, how Scattered Spider exploits them with speed and precision, and the critical security priorities CISOs must adopt to defend modern enterprises. We also include representative case studies from CrowdStrike, Silverfort, and Permiso Security to illustrate how leading vendors are approaching identity visibility, posture hardening, and threat detection. These examples represent case studies of Identity ITDR and highlight the evolving capabilities required to counter identity-driven threats. If you’re a CISO, security architect, or anyone responsible for protecting modern infrastructure, this report is worth your time. 👉 Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/gCqMak7t

  • Mondelēz International wanted a security partner that could do more than react. They needed one that could consolidate, simplify, and accelerate their defenses. With the Falcon platform, they cut mean-time-to-detect to under 15 minutes and mean-time-to-mitigate to just two hours. That’s not just speed — that’s transformation. 👉 A single platform. 👉 Unified visibility across endpoint, identity, cloud, and SIEM. 👉 AI that turns telemetry into action. As Emmett Koen put it best: CrowdStrike is a key enabling partner — giving his team the power to focus on securing the business, not stitching together tools. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g2GRheCF

“However, we found that when DeepSeek-R1 receives prompts containing topics the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) likely considers politically sensitive, the likelihood of it producing code with severe security vulnerabilities increases by up to 50%." https://lnkd.in/ecNMnR_9 https://lnkd.in/en-bVHHp

  • Welcome back to the Adversary Universe podcast, where the fourth wall is optional and our guests escape the nerdery just long enough to drop AI secrets. This week: Cristian, Adam, and Stefan talk DeepSeek, political bias in coding assistants, and what happens when a model gaslights you mid-prompt. • Congrats to our CEO and Founder George Kurtz!

It’s official. Announcing that I’ve personally acquired a minority stake in the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. I believe in this team. I believe in this sport. I believe in the opportunity ahead of us. Proud to be joining Toto Wolff, Ola Källenius, and Jim Ratcliffe as an owner and Technology Advisor. My time on the track has revealed what it takes to win: data, technology, execution. It's the same in cybersecurity. It's the same in business. AI is reshaping competitive advantage everywhere - including motorsport. I'm here to help drive that forward. New- our November CRN Cover Story looks at how CrowdStrike became the first “hyperscaler of security.” (Links in comments) As CEO George Kurtz told me, the combination of CrowdStrike’s cloud-native platform and Falcon Flex subscription model means they now offer a formidable set of advantages that can do for cybersecurity what AWS did for public cloud. Flex was “the last building block to get to the point of CrowdStrike being the hyperscaler of security,” he said. And if there are any doubts CrowdStrike has bounced back from the 2024 outage, their market cap at last check was $133.6 billion, 55% higher than it was the day before the outage (and just above Palo Alto Networks). #crowdstrike #cybersecurity #AWS #hyperscaler
