At Varner Elementary, a surprise dedication left Assistant Superintendent Brenda Carter nearly speechless. Ms. Carter, who began her career as a teacher at Varner, helped bring a new sensory room to the school—a space where students can reset, refocus, and continue learning. She even contributed personal resources to make it possible. When staff gathered to honor her, she was met with flowers, hugs, and the announcement that the room would now carry her name. "I was completely shocked. I have never had a surprise like that—ever," Ms. Carter shared. It was a moving way to thank a veteran Cobb educator whose career has always centered on helping students succeed. 👉 Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/ehgbRgaY
