  • The Final Gavel Gala of Mayor Marilyn Hatley. On Thursday, The City hosted a Final Gavel Gala for Mayor Hatley, inviting friends, family, stakeholders, state representatives, and all who have been influenced and shaped by her leadership to celebrate her retirement. The City heard from Senator Greg Hembree, Tim Scott State Press Secretary Bradford Traywick, Congressman Russell Fry State Representative Gerry Shea, City Manager Ryan Fabbri, and her son Chad Hatley. All gave remarks on how Mayor Hatley shaped the City of North Myrtle Beach and the state of South Carolina over the last 29 years. Thank you Horry County Government for showing to support Mayor Hatley, along with all of her friends, family, public safety partners, and those who love her dearly. Thank you to all who came to the Final Gavel Gala

  • 🐾 Pet Of The Week 🐾 These sibling sweethearts found their way to us after their beloved owner passed away, and now they’re ready to find a new family to love (and entertain)! 😊 Lucky (6 years old) is long, tall, and built for adventure. He’s the athletic sibling, the type who probably climbed Mount Everest in another life. Personal space? Never heard of it. He’ll be right up in your face saying hello before you can blink. Coconut (8 years old), on the other hand, is round like her namesake, a total queen of comfort. Draped in sleek black velvet fur, she’s a diva who lives for couch lounging, snacks, and being adored. She’ll politely request your attention with her big gorgeous eyes and soft little nudges. They are each 13 pounds each of purr-sonality. One’s a mountaineer, the other’s a professional napper. They balance each other perfectly and promise to fill your home with laughter, love, and maybe a few snack crumbs. Call 843-249-4948 to meet this duo!
