Executive Public Sector Professional | Manager of Health Centers | MA, LBBP, CTS

Thanks to John Eades for his article on How Leaders can Stay Focused when everything feels urgent! We all have the same amount of minutes/hours in every day; it's therefore important on what you focus on and not let others around you distract from what you really need to get done... 1. Leaders need to be: Proactive! Time management isn't about doing more; it's about directing your energy & attention into what truly needs done at that moment. When I'm super busy, I made a check list and review that list during the day. This helps me stay on point. 2. Every fire can't be fought; you must choose what needs & deserves your immediate attention. Use wisdom and good judgment! 3. Celebrate at the end of each day what you've accomplished. Write it down! Celebrate all wins, no matter how small. Building that positive momentum trains your brain to recognize progress! Keep on building and using the God-given gifts inside of you.
