We’re proud to share the announcement of the Order Network eXchange (onX) Standard (onX), a new nonprofit organization (led by Kelly Goetsch) dedicated to establishing open standards for how systems connect, exchange data, and communicate across the supply chain. Our CEO, Ajoy Krishnamoorthy and our VP of Product, Josh Fischer are excited to support this important initiative by participating on their board and within their Technical Committee. For years, the supply chain has struggled with inconsistent integrations and fragmented data flows. As AI and Model Context Protocols (MCP), rapidly advance, we now have a unique opportunity not only to define and implement meaningful standards, but also to enable entirely new capabilities for merchants—capabilities many haven’t yet imagined. onX is a new common language for how orders, inventory, products, and shipments flow between selling channels, back-office platforms, logistics networks, and AI agents We’re thrilled to see this initiative come to life and honored to participate alongside such an outstanding group of industry leaders. If you’d like to learn more, visit the link below and follow their LinkedIn page for ongoing updates. The specification, reference implementation, and membership information are now available at https://hubs.li/Q03V6wT90. Press release here: https://hubs.li/Q03V6wSf0

You know your forecasting is broken. You've known for months. But you're too busy to fix it. It's worked well enough so far. You'll deal with it after peak season. I hear these excuses constantly. And I get it - I've made them myself. Here's what "good enough" forecasting actually costs during peak: → Hero SKU sells out week two. Lost revenue: $47K. Customers go to competitors. → 300 units of slow movers sitting in your warehouse. Tied up capital: $23K that could be working elsewhere. → You're guessing what stock to buy and when. Result: chronic over-ordering on some SKUs, under-ordering on others. None of these are surprises. You had the data. You just didn't have a system forcing you to act on it. 🎥 In the video, I walk through three forecasting problems that cost businesses thousands - and how Cin7s ForesightAI helps solve each one differently.

Last week, Cin7 was proud to sponsor the U.S. launch dinner of the Humble Brags Podast — bringing together an inspiring group of founders, entrepreneurs, and operators in the Consumer Goods space. Our Senior Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations, Sean McCaffrey, joined Humble Brags co-founder Carmel Zein, along with Cin7 customers Effy Jewelry, Jordan Smyth (Gleamin), and other founders and operators from CPG companies such as Simple Gum, for a night of meaningful conversation and shared experiences around building and scaling great brands. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many incredible leaders driving innovation in the product space — and to continue supporting the businesses that bring amazing products to life.
