Welcome to an integrated health care delivery system focused solely on the people of Long Island.
About us
When it comes to health care, Long Islanders have a choice. And a great many choose Catholic Health, an integrated health care system with deep roots in Long Island. We’re known for our rich heritage, founded in faith, serving the health care needs of our community for more than one hundred years. We’re known for delivering a quality patient experience that stands apart from other health care systems. We see patients and their families as human beings, with needs that go beyond the prescriptions and procedures. We listen and partner. At Catholic Health, we’re committed to creating an exceptional experience of comprehensive care by pairing our phenomenal clinical abilities with the emotional support of the home. It’s through this blend of comfort and confidence that we have an innate understanding of our community and deliver peace of mind to those we serve. This philosophy is backed by doctors, nurses, and medical professionals who are among the best in the country, for cardiology, oncology, orthopedic surgery, neuroscience, women’s health, pediatrics, and senior care. Catholic Health is a leader in complex care, from minimally invasive solutions to robotic surgery and the pinpoint accuracy of non-invasive stereotactic radiation therapy as well as ambulatory procedures that pre-empt the need for hospitalization. Beyond our hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers, Catholic Health members many hundreds of physician practices across Long Island and regional nursing service, helping you to stay on your personal path to optimal wellness. It’s easy to see why Catholic Health is the go-to health care system for so many Long Islanders. We’re here for you, body and soul. Our commitment is well-established, so we decided to shorten our name. Catholic Health Services of Long Island is now Catholic Health.

Yesterday, the Catholic Health Center for Care Coordination’s Patient Transport Coordinators presented a donation of $268 to the Catholic Health Oncology Service Line. Throughout the month of October, the team wore pink for breast cancer awareness, donating personal funds each week raised to help patients with breast cancer offset the cost of transportation to and from their radiation treatments. 📷: Kevin Ferrarotti, Catholic Health’s Vice President of EMS & Pre-hospital Logistics with Dan Loen, Catholic Health’s Vice President of Ambulatory Care and Oncology.

Recently, Catholic Health's Digital & Technology Solutions Department came together in the spirit of giving and service to support Long Island Cares, Inc | The Harry Chapin Food Bank and their mission to fight food insecurity across our communities. Together, the team packed approximately 1000 meals (half of which are Thanksgiving meals), helping ensure that local families have nourishing food to enjoy. The department’s generosity went even further — with more than 300 pounds of food, $335 in gift cards, and two turkeys donated to help restock the pantry shelves that make a difference for so many. Volunteering time and energy not only helped meet a critical need but also showcased the power of teamwork and compassion during the season of giving. By giving the gift of our time and lending our hands to efficiently pack and prepare meals, we can all strengthen our connection to the community and to one another. 💛
