  • Our Clinical Education Department recently hosted a clinical skills fair in our Simulation Lab and classroom on Brunswick Avenue in Trenton, where public health nurses from throughout Mercer County had the opportunity practice important skills and receive education on latest best practices.   • With Thanksgiving around the corner, our Mobile Food Pantry is committed to ensuring that the families in our community have nourishing meals for the holidays. In partnership with Arm In Arm and Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), we are expanding our reach to serve more households and share more resources with the residents in need. Additionally, The Children's Home Society of NJ is making quarterly visits to the Food Pantry to share Women, Infants and Children (WIC) resources with families. Our Mobile Food Pantry makes weekly stops at the following locations and times: Unity Square Park (formerly Columbus Park), at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Chestnut Avenue in Trenton on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Capital Health Family Health Center, 433 Bellevue Avenue in Trenton on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month from10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

  • Congratulations to student Andoni Razzano (along with teacher Mr. Tom Cunningham) from Newtown Middle School in Newtown, Pennsylvania, who was one of four winners in our recent Wellness Warriors public service announcement (PSA) video contest. Andoni’s entry was the top video in the “Best Messaging” category, which earned their school $2,000 for its parent/teacher organization. This year’s contest saw more than 350 entries from middle schools in Mercer and Bucks counties, with other teams earning Most Creative, Honorable Mention, and Most Impactful honors.
