It’s the most Whopper-ful time of the year… again! Last year, the first-ever BK Advent Calendar sold out in less than five minutes, and we couldn’t resist bringing it back for another season of flame-grilled holiday fun. This year’s calendar leans into a nostalgic theme with 12 gifts inspired by classics, each with a BK twist, from Cini Minis candles to a Kids Club-inspired stuffed animal and more. It’s a playful way to celebrate the holidays and a reminder of how much joy our fans bring to this brand every year. Available November 21 while supplies last for $19.54, a nod to the year Burger King was founded. It’s our little way of counting down to the holidays with brand fans, one flame-grilled surprise at a time. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eXVftD65
About us
The year is 1954. Dave and Jim*, two budding entrepreneurs, are on a mission to re-design the perfect broiler, one that will infuse flame-grilled goodness into every burger. And that's how our brand was born. Today the Burger King Corporation, its affiliates and its franchisees collectively operate more than 17,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries and U.S. territories, serving over 11 million guests per day and they’re still coming back for that flame-grilled flavor. The Burger King® brand is owned by Restaurant Brands International Inc. (“RBI”), which owns three of the world’s iconic quick service restaurant brands – Burger King®, Tim Hortons®, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen®. But we still have room to grow – and that’s where you come in. We need strong operations, bold marketing, and the best people around to make these brands great. And if we like what we see, there’s no limit to how far you could go here. For more information and exciting career opportunities, please RBI’s website at www.rbicareers.com. "If you want to be on a roller coaster you go to Six Flags, if you want to get a hot burger at a consistent price, you go to Burger King" - Tom Curtis, President of Burger King US&C on CNN after sharing strong Q3 2025 results this morning for Burger King US.
This morning, I had the opportunity to go on CNN to talk about our strong Q3 2025 results at Burger King, how we’re keeping costs low for consumers, and going all in on the best burger in QSR – The Whopper. A big thank you to the CNN team and John for the great conversation. Our wins this quarter reflect the hard work of every Franchisee and member of our team, and our shared focus on what matters most: delivering great food, great experiences, and great value to our Guests every day. https://lnkd.in/enrAfyXY

At Burger King, our people are what make us great, and we’re lucky to have Team Members like Russell Williams who embody the BK spirit. The team and Guests at Russell’s BK restaurant on South Alpine Road in Rockford, IL recently celebrated Russell for thirty years of dedication, positivity, and pride. Every Guest who walks through the door knows his friendly smile, and every Team Member feels his commitment to doing things the right way. As Restaurant General Manager Kathy Coleman shared, “When he’s not here, you can see it. He really has a lot of pride in what he does and does a really good job.” Join us in congratulating Russell on this incredible milestone, and read more about his story here: https://lnkd.in/eb9TjEFV

Each year at our annual Franchisee Convention, we host the Whopper Challenge, bringing together Team Members across North America to see who can make the best “Gold Standard Whopper”. We’ve officially crowned the 2025 Restaurant General Manager of the Year! Meet Bob Malick, known to many as “Burger King Bob.” From his first shift flame-grilling at just 15 years old to leading a top-performing restaurant in Lehighton, PA today, Bob’s 40-year journey with Burger King is a story of commitment, respect, and dedication. His Guests know him as someone who makes them feel like family, and his team sees him as a leader who always shows up for them on and off the clock. Bob’s leadership has fueled both people and performance. His restaurant has achieved more than 40% sales growth since 2022, with double-digit increases in both traffic and same-store sales in the past year. Just as importantly, he has created an environment where his team thrives, teamwork is second nature, and Guests always feel welcome. We are proud to celebrate Bob as this year’s RGM of the Year. His legacy proves that treating people with kindness, respect, and a simple “please and thank you” creates success that lasts. Learn more about Bob’s story here: https://lnkd.in/ew29Nnrw

One of the best parts of Burger King is our incredible franchisee community. BK restaurants are powered by passionate operators who bring the brand to life in their local neighborhoods - creating jobs, serving Guests, and building lasting businesses. That’s why we’re excited to connect with entrepreneurs who want to join this journey. If you’ll be at the National Franchise Show in Atlanta on October 4–5, stop by and say hi! We’d love to share what makes Burger King such a rewarding brand to grow with. Can’t make it in person? You can still explore opportunities with us here: https://lnkd.in/gWcCY7dW

Every year, BK brings the fun and flavor during spooky season, and this Halloween is no different. It’s not just about new menu items; it’s about creating moments that families can enjoy together. Starting today (Sept. 30), we’re bringing that spirit to life with our first-ever Monster Menu. From the Jack-O-Lantern Whopper on a spooky orange bun with black sesame seeds, to Vampire Nuggets in a coffin shaped box, Mummy Mozzarella Fries, and a Franken-Candy Sundae, every detail was designed to be playful and fun for kids and parents alike – from the delicious taste to the monster themed packaging and crown. A big thank you to everyone across Burger King who played a part in making this happen. It takes creativity, collaboration, and a lot of teamwork to bring an idea like this to life, and we’re excited to share it with our Guests this Halloween.

Last week our Burger King system came together for our annual Convention in Phoenix, AZ to connect, celebrate, and look ahead. Each year, this gathering is a powerful reminder of what makes our brand so special: our Franchisees, their incredible teams, and the shared commitment to serving BK Guests every single day. During our time together, we discussed business priorities, focus and opportunity areas, and heard updates from our leadership team about the exciting work ahead. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Phoenix and invested your time away from your restaurants to engage, collaborate, and build toward the future of Burger King.

At Burger King, we believe that growing our future leaders starts with getting hands-on experience in our restaurants, and that’s exactly what the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) is all about. The program is a three-year, post-grad journey through every level of restaurant operations, from Team Member to Restaurant General Manager, all the way to District Manager. OLDPs experience real responsibility, and real growth, all designed to build future operations leaders with real field experience. “One year into the program, I was given the privilege of being in charge of a high-volume, recently remodeled restaurant.” said Alejandro Sabo, now coaching teams across 15 restaurants as a Field Trainer. “It has taught me resilience in the face of challenges, how to think strategically under pressure, and the importance of supporting and guiding others to succeed” For Antonio Bobadilla, another OLDP member, the growth came quick and early on: “I had to learn how to lead a team ranging from 16 to 70 years old. That pushed me to grow as a leader, and no two days were ever the same.” Thank you to the incredible OLDPs across BK who are driving results, supporting teams, and helping shape the future of our restaurants. You Rule!
