“It’s my goal that every day is just a little bit too hard for every student in every class, yet they know that they have the support they need to be successful and that they can and will learn. Maybe they don’t have the information they need yet but, with that growth mindset that you’re modeling, they’ll get there.” — Dr. Gillian Chapman, Blue Valley Schools superintendent 💫📚🏆️ In our latest BV Unmuted episode, Dr. Chapman is joined by Melissa Blevins (Blue River Elementary), Dr. Tyler Alexander (Blue Valley Southwest) and Kelly June (Executive Director of Academic Services) to unpack what it really means to be a champion of learning from kindergarten through graduation. 🎙️ To listen to the full podcast episode, visit https://lnkd.in/dx4BkYb6. #BVTogether #ChampionsOfLearning

"I love working as a reading instructional paraprofessional because I get to help students discover the joy of reading and watch their confidence grow. Those moments when something finally "clicks" make it all worth it! It’s also been wonderful to reconnect with families in our neighborhood and watch a new generation of kids walk the same halls my own children did." — Dave Dostal, Oak Hill Elementary instructional support paraprofessional On National Education Support Professionals Day, we want to celebrate the exemplary staff who support our students and staff like Dave and Meredith! Your exceptional commitment and hard work make a meaningful impact on our students and schools every day. 💙 "What I love most about being an instructional paraprofessional is the opportunity to make a direct and positive impact on students every day. I enjoy building meaningful connections while teaching them skills to be successful readers. It is rewarding to see students master skills and build confidence." — Meredith Bolin, Oak Hill Elementary instructional support paraprofessional #BVTogether #ChampionsOfLearning
