COP30 Brazil in Belém and the Climate Implementation Summit (CIS) in São Paulo marked a pivotal moment for global climate action, and our team was proud to contribute to critical conversations shaping the future of climate policy and innovation. Read through our highlights 👇 ✅ In a pre-COP event, our Chief Sustainability Officer Allyson Anderson Book spoke on a keynote panel at CIS, highlighting our sustainable solutions and Carbon Out program – https://lnkd.in/g2FU2ZXK ✅ At a private roundtable hosted by Barclays, Marie Merle Caekebeke, Strategic Engagement Executive, shared our sustainability progress and highlighted the ways we are enabling collaboration and innovation across industries ✅ Alejandro Hernandez, VP Americas, and Daniel Szwarcwald, Brazil Country Leader, spoke at key side events hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to represent the role of the private sector in addressing climate change ✅ We engaged with several stakeholders including customers like PETRONAS, KPMG, World Economic Forum, WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and more to strengthen partnerships and exchange insights that support the energy transition Additionally, Brazil being a key operational and technological hub for us, we hosted an employee townhall in Campinas, Brazil, to share how every Baker Hughes employee can contribute to sustainability priorities. Our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction was recently recognized at the Offshore Well Intervention Awards in Aberdeen, where we received two awards. 🏆 Best Project Outcome - In deepwater offshore Mexico, we worked closely with the operator to engineer a custom, wireline conveyed solution using our PRIME Technology. This enabled the installation of the industry’s first wireline-retrievable SCSSV via a Light Well Intervention Vessel. We restored production, re-established a critical safety barrier, and extended well life, all while reducing costs by ~60%. Belonging Week 2025 brought our global teams together to celebrate what makes us stronger—diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
