Data-Analytics, Automation & AI

About us

The value we deliver to clients, across three vectors; 1. Data-Analytics 2. Automation 3. AI Below is a breakdown of what those three mean to us. 𝟭. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 Practical, actionable, straightforward data-analytics is at the core of our business. We help provide visibility into overwhelming and/or messy business data. Taking system exports or manually tracked spreadsheets, we investigate, transform & automate the processing of that data. Our goal is to build your business a single source of truth data-model. 𝟮. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Spreadsheet & Adjacent tasks, biggest time-saver by far. Additional types of automation: > Email/Attachment processing > PDF & web-scraping > Standard no-code type automations, (Zapier/Power-Automate/Make), simple data pipelines. 𝟯. 𝗔𝗜 AI generally now means Large-Language-Model (LLM) & related technology. The concept of LLM's only came into existence in 2017, with the release of the paper; "Attention is All You Need" Acknowledging that we aren't the experts, but we are confident enough to offer our expertise to clients. Businesses know they need help with the "unknown-unknowns" of AI. That's the gap we fill. AI Projects are low risk & very practical. Commonly, processing semi-structured PDF's that are too messy for a script to handle. Some clients appreciate a more experimental approach to AI. 𝗜𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 Automating spreadsheet-level workflows present the clearest & most tangible time-savings for most businesses. After it's been automated, the time still spent in Excel is vastly improved by improved data-analytics.

  • ADP is looking to hire, either a recent data/finance grad or a python-dev with 1-3 yrs experience. Ideal candidate is someone who's smart, humble, ambitious and conscientious. Short history of ADP: 1. I (Tom) started freelancing in July-2023. Mostly working with small residential real-estate firms in Perth. 2. Over time I saw the same themes popping up again & again, almost regardless of industry or size of business. 3. AI is currently a very small part of what we do. We mainly help clients automate & improve their data-workflows, by building ETL pipelines off their system-exports. It's simple, but valuable work. 4. We currently have clients across, Real-estate, Accounting, Capital-markets, Mining-services and Wholesale trade. In the interests of transparency, I've never hired anyone, nor been anyone's 'boss'. But it's all getting a bit much for just one bloke to handle. Starting on a contractual basis. I've got several internal projects that I'd like to work on together. I'll demonstrate the approach, teaching you what I know & hopefully you'll teach me a few things too. Maybe I'm asking too much, but my ideal outcome is to find someone who eventually becomes a co-owner of the business. It's taken a long time to get to this point, and it's still a very small operation. But honestly, there's a non-zero chance this becomes a billion dollar business.

I'm looking to hire someone and I'd like your help. If you know a bright, hard-working graduate. Data-guys are in short supply nowadays, AI and all.. I'm looking to start with a contracting basis, but if training goes well, to bring them on full-time. Equity not off the table.

  • If you're looking for simple, practical AI. You might want to give us a call. No fluff, obviously joking about number 1 most insufferable LinkedIn AI guru. Probably top 10 in Perth though...

Throwing my hat in the ring for number 1 most insufferable, LinkedIn AI guru... Atleast I'm not selling NFT's. Joking aside, pretty cool tool I built. Not spruiking it, just spruiking my skillset. 5-min video. If you're ever reading PDF's, Docs, Websites or Emails and there's a list of items or a table of data that you just want to grab. Look no further.

  • 📊 Did you know that you can create a dashboard in Excel, simply off of your LinkedIn Data export ❓ This screenshot show us tracking Two things mainly: 1️⃣ Outbound Connection requests & response rate for A|B Testing LinkedIn profiles. Ie, "What pinned post performs best?" "Does a different banner photo make a difference?" 2️⃣ Outbound Messages & response rate. Including breakdowns like: - Whether or not "ChatGPT" was mentioned (training) - Message Length - Number of Lines in the Outbound message. 🔍 Key Standout; Message length has a big impact... Keep it Short & Sweet From the "Message Length Pivot", 9 responses is a tiny sample-size. But incredibly, two of those nine are our clients. Wow. Full video post coming next week.
