At American Water, we are focused on what it takes to meet rapidly changing demand while continuing to serve communities reliably and affordably. At this year’s #NARUCANNUAL25 conference, American Water EVP & COO Cheryl Norton joined regulators and industry leaders to discuss data centers. Thank you to Hon. Tricia Pridemore, Commissioner with the Georgia Public Service Commission and president of NARUC (2024-2025), for raising awareness on those topics through demand roundtables and demonstrating why coordinated planning across sectors is essential. Congratulations to Hon. Ann Rendahl, Commissioner with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, on her election to lead NARUC as president into 2026! We appreciate the thoughtful dialogue at NARUC gatherings and the industry partners who continue this important work alongside us. We look forward to continuing those conversations with a focus on Hon. Rendahl's theme of advancing reliable and resilient infrastructure. As a leader in the water and wastewater industry and a recognized solutions provider, American Water is committed to supporting the evolving needs of communities, collaborating with public officials. #InfrastructureInvestment #WaterUtilities #AmericanWater #UtilityPartnerships

American Water shares holiday tips for safe disposal of fats, oils and grease (FOG) ahead of Thanksgiving and the holiday season: 🚫 Don't rinse FOGs down the drain. Even a powerful disposal can't keep them from clogging pipes. 🗑 Use a strainer, not the drain. Install a basket in the sink and toss trapped food scraps in the trash. 🍽 Scrape before you wash. Remove all food scraps and FOGs from dishes into the trash first. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eSFdFVHE #ProtectYourPipes #ThanksgivingPrep #HolidayTips
